  • Man your studio is crazy fam!!!!! That's real right there real hip hop fam!!!'n

  • hammer, machst du wieder beatz? love your Beatz!!!!!!!

  • love you set-up

  • THIS VIDEO IS FUCKEN DIRTY!

  • @DjPeak thanks for reply , i was just wondering if the EB-20 could be of any use

as there is no sound demo of it anywhere on the web, thought that would be cool to use for adding a quick-n-dirty FX to my soundscapes and keys patches on S5000 while writing an idea for a track, before bouncing individual tracks Dry to Logic where i could improve the FX. just to stay on the MPC+S3000+S950 setup for writing ....

  • @jazzroom i get your point, but seems like you do the work twice. Setting up and effect in the sampler to get a soundscape, and then you start all over again in Logic?!?! if you ask me: i wouldn´t do it like that! do it one time and do it right... saves a lot of time and a lot of trouble... Plus, in my case, adding effects and mixing the track is part of the creative sounddesign. When the beat is produced then i have mostly 90% of the instrumental mix done. After that i don´t start all over...

  • @DjPeak ... my S5000 came without EB20 FX card or the extra 64 voice expantion card, do u have FX card installed - if yes, than how do u like the quality of FX do they sound reasonable and is it worth to get it?

  • @jazzroom no, i dont have it with Fx Card. All my Samplers are connected with all single Outputs to my PC so i can mix them dry in Cubase. My outboard effects (Sony M7, R7, MP5) are doing all effects such as reverb etc. My outboard effects are connected to my PC as well, so i can use them just like plugins. This way of working gives me total recall without using CPU based plug ins. BTW: never use internal effects of Samplers and Synths. They are never as good as a real effectengine or plugin!!!!

  • @DJPeak thanks for reply Peak, i just got the S5000 and very impressed with it's sound and all the possibilities, the interface a bit overwelming at first and took a bit time to use to after the simple and straight forward menues on S950,

  • love the intro u got on your vids , shit is tite , ur beats are fresh , loving the sound you have created

  • Wow, great looking studio setup!

thinking of buying S6000 to use for multitimbral/ multiple velosity zones instruments to add to my S950 & MPC1000 / MPC3000LE setup .....

how do you like S5000 and how do you use it in combination with S950 and MPC60?

  • @jazzroom

thx for the flowers. to answer your question: the S5000 is IMHO the best Sampler i have ever worked with. It is flexible, intuitive, fast and has a killer sound. the sound qualitites go from 16bit HQ clean sound to gritty 12bit dirt. I like it even better than the S950 cuz it is grittier. I use it in combination with the MPC60II - the MPC as the Sequencer and for the Drumsounds, and the rest comes out of the S5000. I only use the S950 when the 8 Outs of the S5000 are packed...

  • yo! the first one with the dragging horn....I love that shit thats more of my style ...real dirty

  • nice set up

  • @REDKLIFF1 who the hell cares ?

    peak . -verdammt geil !

  • @REDKLIFF1 not trying to argue and i am not pissed about your comment/opinion. If so i would erase it. Just trying to tell you that i don´t make beats for what is currently poppin in the industry, i make beats as a reflection of where i am coming from. I make beats since the golden years and i feel like preserving these years. therefore the industry doesn´t matter to me and therefore i don´t give a f.... no offense!!!! P

  • @PeakResetProductions 5 million times better than "whats popping" in the industry right now.

  • @REDKLIFF1

    i don´t give a f.... :-)

  • i got it nevermind i see what you said ...thanks alot

  • so he put all them tascam consoles and cords and computer keyboard in this custom desk. Hope this helps... Peak

  • @PeakResetProductions which ones specifically please help me out

  • @PeakResetProductions what control surface are you using and can u take some pics of how its setup?

  • @tooleandson

it is a tascam FW1884 with an add-on-expander FE8. It is connected via firewire, so it is actually more than just a faderbox it is also the Audio/Midi-Interface. I had a cabinetmaker building me this desk wich covers all the wiring and holds the computer keyboard and all the outboard gear. To the right i have a promix 01 as a submixer for the "unimportant" outboard gear... hope this helps...

  • @Learning1987

i am using a Tascam FW1884 with FE8 wich is actually not a mixer. It is a DAW Controller to control the mixer within Cubase 4. All my Samplers/ Instruments and Outboardgear is directly connected to my Computer via seperate physical inputs. So i mox my shit directly in Cubase. And to prevent to fiddle all the buttons and faders in cubase with the mouse i use this Controller...

I had a carpenter friend of mine to put the whole studio together the way i designed.

  • Thanks!

  • nice my man!

  • Hi! Could you please tell me you connected mpd to the S950 to trigger the sounds from 950, right?

Does Mpd influence in any way the quality of sound of S950?

  • @maximIlovemusic mpd is a midi trigger like a keyboard , the s950 does not have a sequencer , so yes you can trigger but you can't make a beat that way you need something to sequence

  • @maximIlovemusic. the MPD was connected to the Computer working with cubase via USB. And the MIDI out of the computer was connected to the Samplers. You can only trigger the samplers but you can record that in cubase since it is goinging "through" cubase anyway. It has no effect on the sound in any way.

But i must admit the handling of the MPD is nothing compared to the real MPC. Thats why i gave it away and purchased a MPC60II and this one is the real deal...

  • Damn, this my ''dream''studio right there.

    Wish i had money :P

  • is goooood dope....

    your sound is reeeal !!!!

  • damn alot of new & old rappers are coming out with mixtapes ever so often. but 'mixtape' DJs are totally different from 'Real' DJs
