  • Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Even when you let your foot off the gas pedal..

Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Even when you stomp on the brakes..

Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Even when you shift into neutral & pull the E-brake.

Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Until it slams into the back of a semi-truck @ 110 mph

  • Toyota's handling of its recall has been one of the worst. It's not just that the number of affected cars are bigger than any other recall in history, but it also took them almost a decade to admit that there is a problem with no real fix in sight. Try a Ford!

  • or Chrysler I like underdogs doesnt everyone.

  • this is clearly an engineering design fault and not to be blamed on the american auto workers.

  • He's trying to "right the ship?" The ship has long sunk due to deceit. The question is when will the Toyota customers be made whole financially?

  • SPIN! SPIN! SPIN! Mr. Lentz is only deceiving the public, IMO. He knows the truth. The female broadcaster drives a Lexus...if it isn't sludge or brake failure, it may be SUA that she experiences.

Check out the online Toyota Engine Sludge petition where over 3,000 Toyota owners have gathered in complaint about Toyota's lack of resolution in the problem. Quick action? Try a decade of blaming the owners and deceit at dealerships!

  • Ford has way more worst recalled then this , remember the pento and explorer with firestone,? , they didn't give a shit until they almost went bankrupt . Even tho it's CTS gas petal that has defects , Toyota still man enough an take the blame. in japan they still use Denso, which they are replace CTS in north america , hope they learn from this and not fallowing gm , ford , and chysler,

  • Japanese Toyota > American toyota !! totally different

u lazy as americans make it and u guys blame it on Toyota ??come ON!! u guys take ur own responsibilities

  • @urayasukun000 You seem pretty lazy, not wanting to type of the word "you" and all. But that's just my dumb American brain.

  • @itbeshowinlikeamotha it is not lazy just being smart ! why write when u dont have too???

  • Honda,

    Datsun,

    Toyota...

    And Pear Harbor!

  • Poor Toyota

  • I'm a huge import supporter because I know for a fact that thr imports are of much higher quality than the domestics..However, This new toyota gas pedal probelm has completely surprised me..Toyota has been getting it right since from the 1960's..therefore, my conclusion is that they have to stop OUTSOURCING their parts to other non Japanese manufacturers. All parts used to be made exclusively in Japan, Now they're handing parts making over to Canadians and Mexicans? No wonder

  • Imports are more reliable than Ford? I don't think so.

  • Oh, I know so.

  • The car in front - isn't going to stop!

  • The car in front is a Toyota - thank f**** for that, it's when it's behind you should worry.

New Toyotas to have a hole installed below the brake pedal - just in case!

  • It's funny how everyone is so concerned about Toyota's that are made here in the US while THE SAME thing has been happening for years with Chrysler vehicles and also ignore over 14 millions unsafe Gen3 Seatbelts in Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep from 1993-2004 where people have been "ejected" from their vehicles. Chrysler even witnessed crash test dummies being ejected but still used the design. Instead they were given billions in bailout money and helped to be "given" away to FIAT, an Italian company.

  • @dodgechryslersucks Toyota was bailed out too you know.

And apparently the Prius has suffers from dangerous and persisting braking issues but denied it until this ECU problem with the accelerator starting happening. Oh yeah, the Prius is made in Japan.

  • @mtb416 Toyota wasn't bailed out by our Govt., CHRYSLER was given over 14 BILLION to be given away to the Italians (FIAT, a foreign company)!

I'm sorry but nobody can top Chrysler which has MORE serious safety defects than any other automaker it "refuses" to take responsibility for such as OVER 14 MILLION GEN3 Seatbelts that can allow occupants to be ejected in a crash!

Chrysler has done far more damage, isn't American anymore "just pretends to be". Nobody cares about that!

  • @dodgechryslersucks No, Toyota was bailed out by the Japanese government.

Of course our media did not report on this so I am not surprised you didn't know this.

And I never made any excuses for domestic automakers. I will say though that have shitty seatbelts is further down the line from runaway cars. To say the least.

  • they will be soon fired tomorrow.if you have any complain, write obama to never push the Japanese gov.about your base to okinawa.the priminister wont listen to you this time.the numbers of gen.who hates america has been increasing today.better behave well.

  • It was probably a HUGE mistake toyota kept hired american workers besides other foreign workers at each factories at each country.japanese workers never fix wrong stuff and they don't work like dull.hire only Japanese.

  • So what was that about "reliability" you toyota fanboys out there?

It's a computer problem that they still have yet to name. They're trying to put it off on American parts manufacturers and call it a "mechanical problem"

The level of PR I have seen lately is just terrible. Edwards, Tiger, Obama, Toyota. Do these people even have people working in their favor?

  • if its a ecu problem why are all other toyota in the world not affected? u tell me...

  • @st185driver Who says they aren't?!

This problem has been persisting for months now and deaths have even resulted, yet Toyota just really came out with this a couple days ago.

    I'm reminded of Fight Club

    A x B x C = X

If "X" is less than the cost of the recall, we don't do one.

  • Good Riddance, Scrap those crappy cars, you couldnt PAY me to drive one of those stupid cars

  • Which is surprising because Japanese cars best most of the cars made in the world, Toyota was a failed attempt.

  • yea scrap those american made cars. jus import back the genuine japan toyota like the ones in the 80s which people still drive today.

  • Fox is now selling Lexus.

  • yea thats why Lexus and Scion were not recalled because they were built in Japan and sold here. these are made in USA Toyota. not Japan Toyota.

  • @st185driver Lexus is affected.

  • no! Lexus is built in Japan except RX which is built in Canada but they used Japan parts. only Toyota built in North America.

  • GAS PEDAL MADE IN USA.

the japanese company that makes the gas pedal used in japanese made toyota uses a metal bolt assembly while the american company that makes the gas pedal used in american made toyotas uses plastic parts.

japanese toyotas don't have a gas pedal problem, and thus no recall needed.

to fix the problem, they are issuing small stainless steel adhesive backed stickers to car dealers to make sure the plastic parts of the gas pedal don't stick together
