@MacCustomization Thanks, but its not that the changes don't follow through, it's that safari, ichat, preview and some others won't let me change the icon at all. I'll click command v and instead of changing, i get that sound, i don't know how to immitate it in text but you know lol

@makistansonsonson It generally doesn't work for me, but I figured out if you log off or turn your computer off after you make the changes, it should work, hope this helped you out.

Because if you have more than a account in your mac, the other account needs to be deleted so you could change it.

you should utilize terminal commands killall dock and killall finder would refresh your icons without having to log out or drag on and off the dock.
