You probably know this allready, but you need a flat lense to adjust the picture underwater. The curved lense changes the focus piont and the picture seems blurry.I use the one from eyeofmine, it works great.

@11heide Yeah i know about it now. But i only found out when i was on holiday. I made a flat lens for it with a bottle lid and a cd case but it fogged up and i had to take it off. The lens kits are far too expensive for my liking.

@Apituluaheb it isn't good I have a GoPro and the quality underwater was a huge let down in fact my friend has a iphone with a underwater case and his footage looked way better than mine.

I found a couple sites that sell a hack UV filter that you have to pretty much destroy the original case to put on.  I don't get why GoPro hasn''t come out with a lens replacement that has a UV filter built in. From what I've read that's what the guys who film shark week use. And their video looks great.

@Apituluaheb Its the waterproof case. It distorts the view. There are a couple of aftermarket cases and even one case lens replacement which really improve the underwater video quality. For the price, the GoPro is an awesome camera. I love mine.

@allistairc123 Baja California, México, you can also find a lot of Whalesharks on the Gulf of california, in Mexico as well, in Baja California Sur, near Los cabos, the season goes from November till Februar I think, I got to swim with 4 whalesharks last week but unfortunatley I don't have a GoPro camera or anything like that :(

@TyroMusic11 I have a gopro 960 hero and I have biked with it, snorkeled with it, driven with it, swam with it, played kickball with it, gone on water rides at a park, stuck it inside of things to see what was in them later on playback and on and one. I have had only one quality issue with it when one of the prongs on the thing you use to snap it into mounts broke. I have been using it broken and it works just as well as it ever did. It's a very high quality piece of equipment.

sad to hire an animal for this. I went swimming with this animal in Ningaloo reef with an organisation. They explained to us how to swim with them without bothering them. Of course, one guy tried to touch the animal. One of the member of the organisation was not happy at all. This guy was and idiot. As well as the ones that feed wildlife. But as we say the human is an ethnocentric primitive animal. Using coarse language does not help in having a conversation. Hope you will go there one day.
