@v8luver64 oh the G8 sports truck was supposed to be a pontiac. Holden is all under the GM lineup, along with chevy, buick, GMC, and cadillac. the G8 was a concept, however it was cancelled here because there was no need for it, we have enough truck makers. plus, pontiac was cancelled in general by GM. i just want a holden because i would be the only one here to own one. and if i had to get a holden, it would have to be a ute..

does the bird bath on the front collect water at all? i love the toughness the WP scoop adds - but don't like the idea of it collecting water there :(

@Ninno011this was installed from new not to sure of the price of the power pack but there are two places i know that sell this product, Formula Tech Dyno Center & Shacks Holden Fremantle, you can google both, hope this helps. also I'd recommend the 3" for sure.

@welshroo cool, i have an WM GRANGE LS2 and only have OTRCAI and MAFFLESS tune done, stock exh and made 318rwhp, next on the list is 1 7/8 inch difillipo headers full twin 3 inch and cam, 244/242 .612/610 112LSA is the grind i want, which would meen a big stally as its auto 6spd, nice car though.
@yamitji76 that will be an awesome mix... i'm still not to sure on what size cam to put in, is the one your putting in a very large cam??? as im only after a mild lumpy cam. so not to draw the wrong type of attention..

@welshroo I wont be buying brand new, so the one i get will probably have some minor mods already. But i do plan to do a fair bit of work to it as soon as i can. The whole lot pretty much, OTR, cam, tune, full exhaust, coilovers, upgraded brakes, custom wheels, very powerful stereo....plus a few minor things like gxp rear diffuser, billet strut top caps etc etc.

@Zwank36 it may have some walkinshaw mods but it is not a Walkinshaw a walkinshaw is modded by HDT, this is a SSV with some walkinshaw mods, thats it. Also 31wheelieman its not even a HSV

Walshroo, Great SSV & WP mods!!! I'm considering upgrading my SSV to the WP Power Pack. Did you notice any droning because I know this is an issue normally?
Also did you notice any difference in fuel economy? Better or worse? Is there a big improvement in power accross the range? Is your SSV auto (with AFM) or manual? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks
Its a manual, WP mods are from new from the dealer, not to sure of the differenece in fuel aconomy, have compared with another SS on the freeway which was running about the same, Powerwise there's a big difference in performance over the stock SS. I'll post another video soon. the cat back exhurst gives you good lot of Crackle & Pop from the pipes. sounds great when your cruiseing. Ive just added the WP Headers and Y Induction pipe allowing for greater airflow which sounds very nice.

cruising @ 100kph in 6th it sits on 1500 revs about 7.8 ltr/100klms, overall average ltrs per 100kmls is about 14(50% freeway)....regarding the 0-100 time ive not timed it yet due to breaking it in... but a mate has a standard SS with no mods and this is a lot quicker & louder. i will post results when ive timed it..
MY01 has the new digital display, it replaced the old MY06 version of battery and oil temperature, which people were complaining that it looks like Fisher Toys or sthg.
