I'm glad that DS9 toward the end of the series got into more action and more battles .At first it was kinda boring.I wish they would bring a Star Trek story dealing with a battle Crusier ,with a story line in a war or conflict.I think that would be cool.

It's got ro laren, taurik, sam lavelle and picard alond with heaps of others.

DS9 brought out what ST would look like if involved in a major conflict, you get to finally get to see Starfleet conducting major fleet operations against another sizable force. Indeed. Any shots of the Borg Cube and the Sovereign (along with several shots of the Akira's and Steamrunner) are from First Contact. The Borg invasion of Earth happened around the same time as the onset of the Dominion War, but they were separate incidents.
Technically the only full warships are Defiant,Akira Steamrunner and Sabre, but Galaxy, Sovereigns are basically warships as well but more suited to other tasks. Also i read somewhere the New Orleans class was the first attempt at a battleship

Yet, for their size they only use 10-20% internal volume for battle systems that easily match the enemy whose ships may devote 50% or more internal volume to defense systems.
On top of that most federations starships have unparalleled scientific and investigative capabilities with the best science labs, computers, etc anywhere.

Second at least. The first of a class is the same name as the class, so USS Intrepid came first. (for example: the USS Excelsior was the prototype excelsior class)
USS Bellerophon was in DS9 which was an intrepid class starship. It was the episode where sloan sent bashir on a mission to romulus. I hate to break it to rysnyper, the intrepid class ship wasnt much of a warship, though still a formidable ship not to be taken lightly ;)

DS9 was the darkest of all the Star Treks. I think that's why I liked it so much.
It started out slow but once it took off there was no stopping it.
I was hoping they'd make a few movies for theatrical release.

It was but just never seen in DS9cuz the producers wanted the sovereign tobe movie exclusive. And the trek timeline says they are cuz what the hell has picard being doing withthe enterprisea sovereign class since First Contact was just before the war started.

It is unlikely, since the MAC guns are built to fire against vessels that move at much lower speeds than Star Trek ships tend to move.

True, but not all MAC guns have the same firepower, nor are they meant to fire on fast moving vessels. I have yet to see a fast ship in Halo take a MAC round.

Same here... but mabye there are no fast moving vessels rather than UNSC frigates and what ever small ships the Covs have. And I don't think Fed ships were designed to take that amount of punishment, I mean what if a MAC round hit a Galaxy-class, it would blow a almost clean hole right through it!

Technically all ships in Star Trek are fast. No matter the design, they are all capable of .25 the speed of light.

Impulse = One Quarter of the speed of light. Warp 1 = Light Speed. Warp 2 = 10x Light Speed. Warp 9 = 1516x Light Speed. BTW: Nice Talking with you, I love to debate!

Most of these secenes come from star trek Deep Space Nine, when the Federation is in war with the Dominion.
Basicly its the Federation, the klignon empire and the romulan empire vs the Dominion, the cardassians and the breen.

Second at least. The first of a class is the same name as the class, so USS Intrepid came first. (for example: the USS Excelsior was the prototype excelsior class)

USS Bellerophon was in DS9 which was an intrepid class starship. It was the episode where sloan sent bashir on a mission to romulus. I hate to break it to rysnyper, the intrepid class ship wasnt much of a warship, though still a formidable ship not to be taken lightly ;)
