Being a vegetarian is fine, eating meat is fine. Neither is wrong or right. You should make your decision based on your own values, you shouldn't try and influence others with negativity, and you shouldn't be influenced by overly dramatic and overly sentimental videos like this one. I don't get what the big deal about being vegetarian is. I mean, we're omnivores by default, we've evolved to eat, digest, and extract nutrients from meat. It's true that we can live without meat, but we can also live without fruit. There's nothing essential fruit gives us that we can't get from other sources, just like meat, but is it really necessary? No. Animals eat other animals, that's just the way life works.

The difference between slavery and eating meat is that animals are not people, and should not be treated like people. As for your actual argument, it's all about supply and demand. The less demand there is, the less supply there is. In other words, if a vegetarian isn't buying meat, the demand goes down, and as such the supply goes down as well.
if you go to a restaurant and buy a meal that doesn't have meat in it, you give them your money for your meal, and they put that money towards buying stock that includes meat, wouldn't you also be contributing to the slaughter of animals?

People are up in arms about the death of animals because they scream and cause an emotional appeal within our conscience. Ergo, we feel it is wrong to kill animals. However, as long as we don't necessarily have a strong emotional response to a said thing, we don't get angry about the death of it (specifically, plants.)

As for your actual argument, it's all about supply and demand. The less demand there is, the less supply there is. In other words, if a vegetarian isn't buying meat, the demand goes down, and as such the supply goes down as well.

The only reason some people I know are vegetarians, is because everyone else is doing it.
Well, not everyone, but a large number of their friends ect.
I'm just mad because they don't really care, it's just a generic trend, to be honest. "Oh, i killed cute cuddly animals. waaaah, my friends are doing it im doing it too."

Are you aware you still have blood on your hands by living and contributing to a system that causes the death and suffering of animals? It's not just the meat industry. All industry's by nature have to destroy the enviroments of animals, causing their death and suffering. I see the veg. argument as "I'm contributing to a little less animal suffering than you". I find it fairly unimpressive.

Most vegetarians and vegans try to reduce the suffering of animals as much as they can Im not going to go into it too much because of the limited characters, but even if it was just 'a little less' if everyone was doing 'just a little less' the world would be a lot better as a whole for it. We're doing SOMETHING rather then being like you and doing nothing at all. If you can't make a huge difference by yourself why bother?

As I stated we Need to eat. What diet we WANT/choose to follow determines what we NEED to eat. I WANT/choose to eat an omnivores diet....so I NEED to eat meat and vegetables to stay healthy.
What ever the hell diet you follow, be it vegan/vegetarian/fruitarian, will determine what you will NEED to eat.
Just like you can't say the Inuit don't need meat...you can't tell me I don't need meat. As a survivalist by trade the need to eat meat is paramount to survival.

Apparently you missed my subtle point.
Ok. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS WHAT I MEANT:
People are up in arms about the death of animals because they scream and cause an emotional appeal within our conscience. Ergo, we feel it is wrong to kill animals. However, as long as we don't necessarily have a strong emotional response to a said thing, we don't get angry about the death of it (specifically, plants.)
And that is why my comment had an overtone of annoyance.
