@Thunderbolt1000T The PEOPLE are what make any church (of any faith) good. The institution that is the Catholic church is not so good in my estimation - it is little more than a corporation really - and like any other corporation, it makes money, works to fulfill it's own interests (not to be confused with the many good works done by some of its people e.g. Mother Theresa). God is within all of us - you will not really find God in a building, or some book written by mortal men.
wait... hold it... Catholics are not like other Christians, because ONLY Catholics are Christians, these are the words of St.Pius X, St.Augustin and St.Paul. How can any one follow Christ and not submit to his Church, it makes no sense at all, all one has to do is read the bible and live it , the flame of love that comes from the Bible can only shine in the Catholic Church, the rest of the Churches are made by man and came about through schism.
@priest008 can you show me in the bible where the words catholic, purgatory, lent, mass, stations of the cross, confession... mother mary , are used... ? confused , there is only one intercessor, one way ... to God the Father... his son, Jesus, no man, no priest, not church...
This song is sung in a key above the original Key of F. I think it is actually in the Key of G. The deeper voice seems to be Eskricke Francis Benedict Inman, aka Ben Inman. I remember reading that his choirmaster said that he was gifted in singing in octaves lower than the trebles.
I do like this rendition because you can hear the harmonies better than some of the larger choirs.
Could these trebles handled the lower keys as well with the harmonies? What does anyone else think?
Hell is here, in this plane of existence. We are all part of the higher power in this universe - some refer to that power as God. We have the power to create our own reality - we can choose for it to be based in LOVE or fear, hate or other baser and denser emotions. ANY faith that would tell you that you are unworthy is not a faith worth following. The catholic church tells us we are born unworthy...hmmm
@Haldir1970 Everyone is unworthy of Gods mercy and love, that's why it's so amazing that He wants and loves us more than we could ever imagine! That's grace!

woo, Another amazing performance from the lads, I was lucky enough to sing with them @ Lichfield Cathidral (cus I'm Head Chloister) there really good, I harmonized with them amazingly, Patrick is by far the best and the cutest little dude ever :D such a shame that there voice cracked not that lonng ago :( but we are left with such amazing music, god bless the choirboys (especially PATRICK) x
Oh you poor Protestant, You can't be saved, read the Bible read the Gospel of ST Mark. "they who are baptised and believe will be saved, they who don't believe will perish", "take all of you this is my body give up for you, take all ye and drink this is my blood the blood of the new and EVERLASTING covenant it will be shed for you and many for the forgiveness of sins DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME" Which is the only Church that does this? CATHOLIC. Protestants only have Symbolic communion, bloody shit.
@priest008 As recovering Catholic, I can say with absolute impunity that there are many, many Roman Catholics who are the last people in this universe to be telling others that they are destined to burn in hell. We are all - ALL OF US - part of the higher power that created this universe, and we are ALL worthy to live a life based in LOVE - THAT IS THE HEAVEN WE MUST CREATE.
yes and I agree but I am stating truth, how can you hide truth, "nulla ecclesia spe salve" outside the Church there is no salvation.
"go out and baptise people in my name, they who beleive and are baptised will be saved, those who beleiveth not will go to the everlasting fires prepared for them beforehand" (Gospel of St.mark).
He who eats my body will have life eternal in him and I shall raise him on the last day, which church performs this? ONLY the RCC.
@priest008 That verse is figurative. no one actually eats the body and drinks the blood of the Lord, 1 Corinthians 11
"the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.....For as often as ye eat this BREAD."
If it was transformed into the actual body of Christ, surely Paul wouldn't call it bread after it was eaten.

@Seleukos1209 if you are are speaking of normal Catholic TRUE theology then no I disagree with you that I am flawed, but if you talk about Protestant corrupt Theology then yes you are right i am flawed on it, I have no time for imitations I have the original faith founded by Christ , left to Peter and his successors. Christ has made it clear "unless you eat my body and drink my blood you have no life in you, for my flesh is food indeed'
@priest008 Protestant corrupt theology? Catholic true theology? I am not interested in the separation of the Churches nor the conflicts that lie within. I am merely stating to you the truth of scripture written before me. Jesus does not say 'do this (communion) and you will be saved.' He says 'do this in remembrance of me.' He does however state that he 'is the way and the truth and the life.' Acts 16v31 states 'believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.' Where is communion in this?
And indeed, Christ may say that those who do not partake in Holy Communion have not tasted life. But one must first have realized what true life in Jesus Christ is in order to take communion in the first place. It cannot save you in itself but serves as a physical symbolic reminder of the beautiful grace of Jesus Christ.
@Seleukos1209 it aint no symbol dude! ead the lives of the saints!! They all beleived the Eucharis t to be his ACTUAL present body and blood, he who says other wise is Anathema
@priest008 I'm not interested in the lives of the saints, they are just fallible human beings like you and myself. I am however interested in the truth of the Bible, which makes it perfectly clear that communion is not the way in which salvation is achieved...and if the saints said otherwise, i fail to see how they can possibly be saints....
@Seleukos1209 Indeed they were fallible humans like us but what made them saints is the way they took their human situation and imitated Christ. All the saints believed in Christs true presence in the Eucharist.
@priest008 Well the Eucharist if you remember was originally the Passover meal. The passover meal was a remembrance of the way in which the Jews were saved from the Angel of Death in Egypt. Likewise, the Lord's supper is a remembrance of the way in which Jesus Christ saves us from the death of sin. Passover did not save the Jews: the symbolic cross on the doorframe did. Likewise, communion does not save us but the Cross of Jesus Christ does.
@Seleukos1209 Wrong again, indeed it was a passover meal, however it was changed to suite Christs, as Christ instituted the Eucharistic celebration on that day, he said "take all ye and eat for this is my body" like wise with the wine "For this is my blood of the NEW AND EVERLASTING covenant" he later said do this in memory of me, and who ever eats this bread and drinks this blood will have life everlasting for my flesh is food indeed and my blood is drink indeed. Good day.
@priest008 How could it possibly be literal? He is clearly using it as a metaphor for his body 'broken for you' on his cross. Does it taste like human flesh? It doesnt, so if its Christ, then we are deceived. Are you calling God a deceiver? New and everlasting covenant is the covenant of redemption through Jesus Christ in comparison to the old covenant which was the Jewish law. Redemption in Christ is not achieved in communion but 'through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.' Romans 3:22
@Seleukos1209 yes what Romans 3:22 is saying that through faith in Jesus Christ we are saved, what is the Eucharist if not Jesus Christ, God isn't a deceiver...that's why it says he 'broke the bread' & never said I broke my body for you, he said straight and plane,MY FLESH IS FOOD INDEED! Can something be more blooming clear dude!! Why can;t you get it, I know you have good intentions but it's so clear look at it!! For my flesh is food indeed and my blood is drink indeed. "Transubstantiation"
@priest008 Yes, his flesh is food, but its not literal, it's food for the soul. Likewise he gives us 'bread from heaven' which is not literally bread, but our spiritual satisfaction. In addition, 'give us this day our daily bread;' again, not literal bread but food for the soul. Whoever satisfies themself in the flesh of Christ, i.e. believes in him and does his bidding, will have life.
@Seleukos1209 Yes the Eucharist is food for the soul indeed, which is why give us this day our daily bread can be linked to 'allow us to have the Eucharist'....The Catholic Church alone keeps the unbroken lineage, I am not going to bother any more, I said all I have to say...do what you want.
@1611isperfect Dude, you need teaching! I would rather run to Mary on my knees who is the mother of my savior, what kind of a God would damn people for loving his mother? She's his mamma and she's my mamma and I will go to her and pray to her! there is no hope in the Pope? Well strangely enough Christ founded one Church under the Pope and this is so clear, unless you read your protestant crap. the truth is clear, it's up to you, with an infallible scripture you need an infallible interpreter.
