I suggest using the online guide on gamefaqs for tips. The strategy guide made for this game is also a great reference and gives you tips on how to get through the toughest stages for new comers. It might be tough at first, but if you really are interested in the game get the guide.

So this is where you can get your first level 9,999's then, assuming the trick still works like in Disgaea 2.

Now that you mention it, it might be possible to copy the Nekomata level trick. I'll see if this is possible later.

Um, nevermind. It would seem you can only capture a monster twice the level as Mao only.
