Why are some aircraft much faster than others? Military aircraft or military black projects? Look at the North Pole, pretty good performance on some.

it's because this is a flat map. U can't compare the planes on equatorial with the ones at the poles. This is a "flat" and "square" map. If u had a globe with this on, the planes would travel at the same speed.

@canadiantree2000 Even though america seems to have more flights by volume, they're mostly domestic. Look at the traffic into EGLL, EHAM, LEMD, EGKK, EHAM, or EDDF, and you'll see that Europe is the center.

@LukeCZ1 It depends. First 15 sec and last 15 secs Europe is motionless and America is all in action. Then Europe wakes up and starts moving and America goes to sleep.
