I just watched the last episode of the 2nd season and now I started watching this and I was like "gosh, I'll miss the first generation so fucking much! I'm not really liking these new guys... why didn't they keep the first generation!?" but then at 4:40 I was like "OMG, IT'S TONY'S DAD!!" and then I saw Effy too and I was like "YES! Now I have a reason to watch this!" I just love Effy and I'm really happy they at least kept her :)

I hate the second generation, they're all so cold and mean. The friendships aren't nearly as close and playful as in the first, also there's lots of silly unrealistic shit (2:34 ...) which I don't like. But I'm still rewatching for Effys awesome going-insane storyline in the 4th season! :)

I love this season, I think it's the best one so far. Characters are just perfect and personally I love Naomi's attitude and the personality from Emily... They will always be my favourites and I'm here, seeing this again 'cause I miss them too much :'(

If this cast was in the first generation instead of the second, you would say the same thing, "The old cast are the best, no one can ever replace the old cast, I can't watch this."

It really depends on what cast you watched first. I personally watched the second generation before the first one. I don't know why I did that but I did. Anyways, I love both generations but, I certainly am more attached to the second because they're the cast that introduced me to the series.
