This military doesn't exactly have a stellar record of making optimal use of the resources they have. Why should we think they're use of the land they already have is the shining exception?
If the military won't bother to explain exactly why they "need" the new land, and what they're doing - acre by acre - on their existing desert properties - it's a non-conversation.
If they want to be treated as professionals, they must act professionally.
I live near Johnson Valley, and quite often go camping/dirt bike riding in the area. But let me tell you something, it seems like most off roaders that go there are just filthy pigs, leaving behind lots of trash, and dumping their holding tanks out there... So even though I love riding in the area, maybe it would be better off in the hands of the military, at least it wouldn't get dicked up. "AS BAD" ....
great info!!!! im printing out a bunch of those comment cards and giving them to all my ohv buddies to fill out whenever they come over! we need to save Johnson valley!!!
