Go Harry Potter! Ravenclaw all the way, baby. Also I disagree. I think Dan is a horrible person for not reading them. (: If you're still too lazy to read them, get over it. You're not going to get through high school without reading. Then again, there is always spark notes. Haha. But once you read them, you can understand all the Harry Potter songs, like Book 8 and songs by Ministry of Magic or The Parslemouths. Harry Potter beats everything else, pretty much. :D

What's the matter with you? I just stated from experience that it is possible to read a long book in the span of a day if you sit down and try. For reference, HP 5 had approximately 257,045 words. What point exactly are you trying to make by trying to saying it has 1 on each page? That makes no sense.

When you read the book after watching the movie that left out oh so many wonderful details, you appreciate it loads more.

But also, it's kind of nice to read the books first, because if you've seen the movies initially, it's difficult to have your own physical comprehension of each of the characters, because you have the actors' faces in your head.

Harry Potter is awesome and I have read all the books expect the last two, but there are better books than Harry Potter in my opinion. examples, Ranger's Apprentice, The Halo books, Mass Effect Books, Star wars, etc. The Harry Potter books are kick ass books tho, unlike Twilight. That is because you suck. People in this world should read more. It's really an easy book, starts normal and gets fast. It only has 309 pages, the last one has 600 or something. Even if it has 600 pages, it's still easy. Try reading The Gods Themselves, by Asimov, even if it has only 288 pages, it takes you the combined time of all 7 HP books to read it.
