If a stick is thrown that stops a blatant goal, then it is an automatic goal. If there is a chance for it to be saved without the stick, then it is a penalty shot. If a defending player covers the puck in the crease with his hand, its always a penalty shot. These are the definite rules, now all you retards can stop being so fucking dumb.

@Beavcoon16 your sort of right usa hockey rules are if the goalie is pulled and a def player throws a stick, piece of equip at the puck , int knocks the net off, or covers the puck in the crease in the def. zone then it is an awarded goal. If the goalie is on the ice then it is optional penalty shot/ 2 min for delay of game. If the referee says the puck would have gone in the net he may award the goal.
