WOW! It was already horrible trying to drive thru that stretch of construction on I-65 before they had even started construction. I can only imagine how bad it is now, lol. Excellent video, by the way =) I would love to see one uploaded during evening rush hour. That would be awesome(viewing of course), not sitting and filming.
@thatguy12182 Thankfully I hit it around 2:00 in the afternoon and as you see I made it through without any hitch. As I was driving from Florida to Ohio, I am glad I didn't lose an hour or two in traffic. Thanks for watching and for the comments! I'm glad you liked it.
@GeoffJennyOliver You know, I didn't think of that until I read your comment. I am driving a 2007 Toyota Tundra and it does give a great view of the road. Thanks for watching!!!
Great job, Brian! Enjoyed the ride. One of these days, I've got to get back out to B'ham to "clinch" I-459 and get more I-59 and I-65 miles under my belt. Look forward to your future videos.
@georgiaroadgeek Thanks for watching!! You know, I have never been on I-459 not even once. I basically refuse to bypass a different city unless there is a traffic or construction (traffic) reason. I have clinched I-59 (I once drove the whole length in one trip) and I have most of I-65. I lack the portion from Montgomery to Mobile (though I have visited both cities more than once).
Nice video. The first part of the video, where there was a single lane of traffic, reminds me of I-20 in west Georgia, when GDOT rehabbed the concrete. Again, great job!
0:09 Brother I thought that your car is 2000 HP xD Good video !

I really like the high view you give us - looking right over the top of most other vehicles

@cochrab
You're welcome. It's a pretty rural stretch -- the stretch west of Villa Rica to the Georgia-Alabama state line, nothing of note.
