Love your vids, especially your use of music, its a very small point but Boudica wasn't English. I'm fascinated to know who's your favorite woman from English history and why?
I read about Isabella of France ( She-Wolf) She was unhappy woman She did not know love living with the gay which constantly neglected and humiliated her It is not surprising that her patience had come to end and she revenged
Actually I think that Margret Tudor is very important as it's was her marriage to James iv that finally united the isles into Britannia through her great grandson
Poor Boudica must be having a sputtering rage in the afterlife over that horrid Victorian statue of her in Roman garb. She despised everything Roman hence why she torched 2 major cities built by the Romans. The first was London.
Overall great video. I enjoy how you added some relatively unknowns to the video, like Margaret Tudor. I'm so glad you didn't confuse the young portrait of Katherine of Aragon with Mary I.
You left out Jane Grey, the "nine days queen". But I really liked this video. It was well put together showing how beautiful and fascinating women are, since the beginning of time.
So glad that you included Elizabeth Woodville. I think she is an amazing woman and I would love to see a movie about her as she seems to have been forgotten. Team Woodville all the way!
@theothertudorgirl omg YES why HASN'T there been a movie with Elizabeth Woodville, right?! That whole situation/storyline etc was FASCINATING. I find there's so many movies about the House of Tudor... but what about the House of York?? Simply amazing stuff..cheers
Not of mind or body. But of Blood. Hers is the Blood of an ancient line, as well as the producer for the future line. Hers is the tie which binds the mideavel and modern dynasties. Please don't get me wrong. I liked the work, it was very very good, especially mentioning Boudicca. Most people don't even know about her.
But she was a warrior. A product of her environment. And the circumstances in that environment made her who she was. Same with Elizabeth of York.
@kayrisha23 She indeed Procurred a lot of executions, Edward always listened and signed the warrants

Pretty good. Was a little disappointed you left off Henry VII wife. SHE was a true Engllish queen. daughter, wife, mother, sister and neice of Kings.

but she wasn't a very strong woman.
