Like any other bite, though, it could get infected, or spread disease, so you should still try to get that shrew! I mix my peanut butter with oatmeal and a dab of bacon grease. If that doesn't work you might try raw hamburger, bacon, or chocolate, according to the site Adam's pest control. I have been trapping shrews in my garden.
