To keep your nails healthy: don't cut your cuticles, use cuticle oil for them, deep your nails in warm olive oil for a few minutes once a week, always use a base coat.

well, they look like a tattoo on then nail, you don't feel the difference between the nail and the decal.

I'm not very good at doing my own nails but your tutorials make me want to keep trying to get better at it. Couple of questions for you: 1. How long do you have to wait before you put on the top coat? 2. What's a good base coat? Most of the ones i try chip or peel off easily.

And for the answers to your questions:

1. I apply the top coat after the nail polish gets pretty dry, to prevent mixing the colors.

2. As a base coat I use one from Rimmel and I am very pleased about it. Now I received a base coat from China Glaze which is also very good.
