  • Clamming in Half moon bay?? You did well getting 6!!(LOL) Really man Washington State where i now live is the place to dig clams. over this summer I dug Geoduck, Horse(for crab bait) Manillia, Butter, and Native Littleneck now thats a good mix!!

  • That was funny. I have never seen any one try and get clams from a beach that wasn't smooth and sandy. When i lived on an Island in Oak Harber, Wa i would go bear foot on the beach and every time it felt like a rock under the sand, i reached doen and picked up a clam with my hand. (just under the sand) as many as i wanted. So go to sandy beaches when the tide is out. (you know you in the right spot when you see alot of holes in the sand)

  • zero point zero...

  • thank... nice and fun clip

  • I thought that area is a sanctuary. I've been told you're not allowed to harvest anything there. Well, if you could, I recommend the mussels -they're pretty good. That is, if they're big enough. Many of them are too darn small. If you want clams, you get them near Coyote Point, unless clamming is not allowed there anymore.

  • beautiful place. I've only been to halfmoon bay's sandy beach area, how do you get to this rocky shore?

  • What you do is wait for low tide. That's when you get to see interesting aquatic life
