I study in UM for 4 years from 2004. I just graduated this year. I think will not have any big changes there. :) what course are u going to take in UM next year?
Even though UM was listed among the best universities, but I will still not select UM as the place for studies because UM uses Malay... I want English...
UM uses Malay as the medium of instruction.. the same goes to other universities in Malaysia unless there is the only one international university which uses English 100%...UIAM
what u see from the video clip is exactly summary of my 4 years uni life in um..I was studying accounting. how about you? are you second intake? one thing for sure is there are many activities or program carrying out in um.besides, um is in the center of town, so there are many outside entertainment distractingly as well..hehe..so, enjoy ur life in um by smart dividing ur time between activities and academic. You will find much joyces in ur uni life too!
Allright then, Im going to do a master in asean studies. I really hope to go there within two weeks. Is there anything I should know before going there. Im from Holland btw.
sorry for late reply. just view ur msg. oh, ..u are from Holland,i am Malaysian and i come form Penang state. welcoming to Malaysia, selangor,um then. if i am not wrong, u are now studying in UM already right. hope u like the place and enjoy ur life in um. definitely there are totally different culture here. u might facing some difficulties but don't feel upset if you do. treating all that as challenges :) cheers..
in Malaysia, we got an unternational university which offers an islamic environment.u can meet tousands of people from all over the world... it might not find this in the UM.

PJ is one of the districts of Selangor not Kuala Lumpur... half of the university is in Selangor..
