Thanks for posting this.... I had roughly 698,000 +/- hits here before it was pulled for copyright which has now been resolved. It was a lot of fun pulling it together and I'm glad to see people still enjoying it.
He didn't mention my hometown of Del Rio so he hasn't been everywhere but hes pretty close. Still, its an awesome version of the song. Johnny himself would have liked it.
My deceased husband traveled the whole 48 states. Sometimes I went. Now our only son is a truck driver and he's traveled almost as much as his Dad did, especially Texas. If you haven't guessed by now we are all Texas born and breed.
What is ironic about this video is that my son drives the exact same truck and trailer as in the video. Maybe Brian should trying doing it in a truck. I'm sure my son would love the company (give him sometime to practice his guitar). Anyway, Cash is still #1.
i've always loved this song, now a video to go with it, freaking awesome!!!!,,,gonna be moving to florida soon, will keep this video close to my heart!
*take the girl outta texas but can't take texas outta the girl*
This is superb....I absolutely LOVE it!!! My father was a pilot, so I loved the original...this is a great "modification"....my father modified EVERYTHING, so he would have loved this.
This song cracks me up because I've lived in Texas my whole life (and I've traveled a good bit), but I haven't been to half these places. Such a big state... :)
This was a fun (virtual) trip. I think I've rode to a lot of those places. I'd have to go back through my records, though, to find out just how many. Thanks for sharing.
Yeaaaaa...my little town of Lone Oak is in the song. Looks like the pic was taken on F.M. 513 coming into town from West Tawakoni, on Highway 69 coming from Emory or on F.M. 1567 coming from Miller Grove.
WOW! that is a lot of miles you rode to get the pics.

I counted - I've been to 40 of the places mentioned. Really loved that Cut N Shoot was included.
