  • @GFORCEpackattack because everything is so fucking programmed now, this beat would go well somewhere, you just have to find the place. You have no idea.

  • The original recording of ''That Lucky Old Sun'' by Frankie Laine hit no. 1 on the charts the fourth week of September 1949 -- and remained no. 1 for eight consecutive weeks.

  • Part of the deal being from Muleshoe, TX.... KMUL, Gil Lamb, and this song.... :-)

  • I had the 78 when I was around 4 or 5 years old..I remember me crying when my brother sat on and broke it. My dad then went out and bought the L.P.for me and I was still pissed because it was not the same version! What ever happened to "Western music"? When I was a kid it was the shit!!

  • @TheJetfighter666 good c/w music can be found rigch hear

  • A CLASSIC NEVER DIES!

  • Dey poor mule get used is what.

  • Never heard this version. Instrumentation is slightly different and Lane uses a different accenting of chords. Wonder how many different versions were recorded.

  • My dad and I are just jammin to these classics!!!

  • All Frankie's western songs have always

    been great.

  • Haven't heard this in years!!! Still sounds great!!!
