  • Thank you.

    This film is very important.

  • Imperial Japan was an evil empire; it's intent was not just seizing territory by the means of regular warfare, it basically carried out a laundary list of attrocities that is hard to describe in human terms with no bound. Atomic weapon was used in the right way to stop the imperial japan's insanity. There are some insanity still remains because the dosage of the A-bombs was low..a third A-bomb would have been necessary.

  • @ZarathuPower i think that you should have been in the blast range too.

    Stupid Ignorant!

  • @666stres66 I gave the reasons why, but you just condamn me. Who is more ignorant?

  • @ZarathuPower

    it's you.

  • To test the nukes effects wer eone of the main aim.The other significant factors were to save the US soldiers lives. The fighting were getting more intense fanatical as its close to Japan main islands.

  • I believe, have always believed, and will always believe the primary reason for the dropping of those bombs was to test the effects of nuclear weapons on human beings. It was not a strategic or tactical decision, but a cynical decision to gather data-- and at what cost!

  • The Japanese military was horribly brutal and repressive toward civilians in their campaigns; just ask the Koreans! Did this give us the moral imperative to nuke two Japanese cities? Absolutely not! With Russia's entry into the Pacific war after the surrender of Germany and Italy and the U.S. having air supremacy over Japan, the war could have been brought to an end without the use of nuclear weapons.

  • Before the XXth Century collateral casualties were killed personally, by troops. The advent of aerial bombing changed things. The fire-bombing (non-nuclear) by the U.S. and Britain of Dresden, Germany, a civilian city with no military or military-related industries was even more horrific than the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear strikes. Kurt Vonnegut wrote about it brililantly in his 1969 novel _Slaughterhouse 5_.

  • People commemorate the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki but do they care about what the Japanese people did to the beautiful island nation called Philippines?

Let's face it, for most old Filipinos, the Americans acts as liberators of the Filipinos from this barbaric race of animals who raped many women and killed little children.

To the "Japs"- 'Tangina ninyo, mga mababahong hayup!

  • The United States had liberated the people of the Philippines from the barbaric and animalistic Japanese Imperial Forces...The Atomic Bomb dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki is a "Karma" against the so-called Japanese Imperialists of World War Two...

  • This is one example that Japan suffered dearly from it's own tyranny and glutany.

Never did I symphatize with those who were "victims" of the American bombs since the Japanese VICTIMIZED first the people of the Philippines

  • The US has no responsability, no honor, no fellings, no pride, no dignity, and care for anyone but them selves. They are like a lose wild animal in a mall killing indasriminantly who ever they feel like killing like ever one and everything is just toys.

I am very ashamed to say I am or was born in America.

But now I live in Kobe, Japan for over 8 years, and in Nov 7, 2008 I will be applying for Japanese citizenship! So I can then say with head held high I'm Japanese not American!

  • If the Americans have no honor, what can you say about the "Japs" who butchered and murdered most civilian Filipinos in WW2?

The Japanese talks about things like "honor" but do they trully understand what it means?

  • America is the only nation ever to deliberately drop Nuclear Bombs on civilians.

Now, It is hypocrisy to accuse others Terrorism.

  • my heart breaks for these poor peopol and the little kids i just want to hug them and tell them it was a bad dream and their okay but sadly i cant

  • nothing to be proud of it this is madness stop Atomic Bomb.

  • Humans are a violent and cruel species. If we continue the way we are now, civilization as we know it will collapse. There is never a reason for war, it is wrong.

  • Blame is the cause of much killing. Get rid of blame and thats where it can all start.

  • Do you remember how you kill people in the Far East Asia. Don't Blame ............

  • I am glad that you viewed it. People all over the World can work toward PEACE together. No blaming each other. That is for you and for all creatures in the universe.

  • Yes. No blaming each other. Japan was both a victim and wrongdoer, and so were other countries. This is a record for the future of all the people on the earth.

  • Nothing they did intietaled the US to go so fare as to kill 300,000 non military personel in such a grosome act of hate!

  • "(Japan was both a victim and wrongdoer)"

What happend here in saying what you have just said is like saying it's fair for a man who stole some bread to feed his family that when caught he should be skined and impailed then burned to death.

These bombings we're way out of line and the US know's it! They had a new toy and they wanted to play with it and they didn't care who got hurt infact that was part of the fun!
