Try sleeping in the rain forest while having them around you or doing night shifts at the beach for Sea Turtle research. Yeah, annoying monkeys if you're trying to sleep.

I went to Lamanai while I was staying in San Pedro. My sister and I were climbing back down from the tallest temple when we heard that sound coming from out of the trees. We were scared to death! It sounded like a bunch of tigers in a blender. Video just can't covey how loud those things are. Thanks for posting this; I was trying to explain this sound to a friend and here's the perfect video from exactly where I was!

Even though I would know this was a Howler Monkey, I would still be completely terrified hearing that noise in the middle of the night.
