You a horrible guinea pig owner if you try to stuff a pair of guinea pigs in that! Guinea pigs need a 7.5 square feet for two females and 10.5 square feet for males.

i absoletly love this cage i got the same one yesterday thinkin it wud be too small but it is perfect sizefor 1 guinea and i love the fact that it comes with everything i think it is cleaner and safer than a c+c cage!

hey i was thinking that when u put on hand sanitizer then if the guinea pigs lick ur hand, aren't they also licking some of the hand sanitizer?

@WonderstruckVEVO That's true. It's safer to just wash your hands with water and soap, that way there's no chance of your cavy injesting some of the alcohol and chamicals in the sanitizer.

@thebunnydog11 well petstores don't really care much about their pets.. they care about making money .. the big chain petstores mostly buy animals from animal mills. Guinea pigs are lactose intolerance and yet they still sell yogurt drops. If you want to reply why don't you pm me so we don't spam her feed. :)

this cage is even too small for nurseing mommas other female piggie with help with the babies so in a c&c cage will be fine but no male and breeding guinea pigs can be bad meany piggies need homes and are being just left outside so makeing more is not helping with population control

@SeymourShawOffical1 Its a little small for even one guinea pig :( I try just to use it for pregnant moms that don't need that much space. 2 guinea pigs would do much better in the extra large version. If you want something cheeper try a C&C cage :)

Besides play room, a big reason guinea pigs need allot of apace is because they will get in a fight if they are 2 close for 2 long.

actually the blocks were made for guinea pigs and the paint is guinea pig safe :)

Those letter blocks probably aren't a good idea since they have paint on them, wouldn't be good for a piggy to ingest.

Its fine. It just makes it eaiser to clean when you have the paper under it. Yes, as long as they are the same gender they should be fine. Some guinea pigs dont like other guinea pigs so if possible, I would test him/her out with another guinea pig before buying one :)

Is it okay if i don't have the paper under? If you get another guinea pig and want to put it in another ones cage with them, do you just need to get the same gender?
