@muziekengeluid Hell yes I am Dutch ;-) But I really can't sing, nor can't play a note on any instrument :-)

On a sidenote, you are from "Grunnen" province, right? What you need is someone who can (loosely) translate Peter Gabriel's lyrics to Grunnigs dialect and of course a Grunniger singer. That would create something unique (and may even be commercially viable).

Anyway, I get goose pimples time and time again I am listening to this piece (especially from 06:00 onwards). It is just great.

You're right, it doesn't sound very 70's, but I needed a sound with an octave in it, and this one was the closest to the original that I could find in my collection.

I wanted an acoustic sound for the flute, and since i don't play one, I decided to use the accordeon... but thank you for not judging me for it ;-)

Awesome... I love multi-instrumentalists (Mike Oldfield, Yann Tiersen), but I never heard Genesis-tribute played by one man and it's great!

The real cool part is the keyboard solo at 04:45, because it *doesn't* sound like the early 1970s, it actually sounds like 1980s neo-prog, which was inspired by Genesis. That, and the accordion instead of flute makes this piece not just a copy of the original played by a fan, but your own way of a tribute to Genesis. Once again, great!

PS: Get a singer ;-)

potjandriedubbeltjes...ik weet toch zeker dat ik lyrisch was (en ben) over deze versie en dat ik dat hier geschreven heb......Weg ! Dan nog maar een keer : Op detail soms iets te langzaam en niet vinnig genoeg (naar mijn idee) ,maar ruimschoots genoeg om mij kippevel te bezorgen en de beelden van leiden en Arnhem weer terug te brengen uit die tijd.

Wat heerlijk als je je favoriete muziek zo na kunt spelen, dan zit je er echt helemaal "in".

Thanks man, great to get this from an expert... but there aint no real Mellotron, I downloaded a picture and super-imposed it on my bloody DX-7, but I'm glad to hear I got you confused there :-)

The accordion was the best alternative for the flute since I don't play it and I refused to use a sample...

I agree, I don't see no difference in quality either, maybe I oughta cut it into 3 pieces again and compress each part to 1GB... but... I did skip the 10 minutes limits... dI didn't realise it myself, not to mention that I don't have a friggin clue how I did it LOL...

Anyway, I assume you were already familiar with the footage so thanks for watching once again anyways ;-) Can't wait till I can upload HD ;-)
