Del's took a lot of flak b4 the 2007 RWC, but he had such an outstanding tourney he become one of our most loved wingers. B4 2007 he was not rated in 15s, only in 7s.

Fijian players can play average for their clubs, but come RWC and wearing our jersey, a different player comes out.

Is there any chance of Nalaga playing for NZ? I really hope not but a lot of the better Fijian (plus other Pacific Islanders) seem to be poached by NZ or Australia. I'm English but when the World Cup comes around I support any Pacific Island team over any of the 'Home Nations'. Fiji would have to be my favourite though.

Nalaga doesnt seem to have the same speed and side-step of the classic Fijian wingers. Very strong though

Agreed, because Nalaga usually played in the midfield, he's originally an outside center not a wing.

Saimoni Vaka who plays for Agen clocked 10:45 sec in the Fiji secondary school Coca Cola Games senior boys 100m.

Another upcoming rugby player who is currently still in school just clocked 10:33 (100m) yesterday in the Fiji Tailevu Zone secondary school meet.

Another prospect is 16yr old Lepani Naivalu who also set a new record of 10:54 in the intermediate boys 100m.

Iowane Dovumatua who was in the Fiji 7s preliminary squad last season, he clocked 10.5 in the Senior boys 100m last year.

All are rugby players and probably coming soon to a French club near you...lol
