When the puppy got in, the girl held her hand underneath the entire time to make sure he/she stayed on top of the water. Then they showed the puppy to get out towards the stairs so he/she would know what to do.
It's one thing if they just threw the puppy in there and let it struggle- so I don't see a thing wrong with this video.
This is why chihuahuas are known as the most spoiled breed of dog there is and why some people refuse to even classify them as dogs. They do not need help with EVERYTHING. Yes they are little but you'd be surprised what they can do on their own IF you let them. She was clearly capable of getting out of the water herself, we saw her do it! If they helped her they would have never known that and it would just be one more thing that they do for her that they don't need to.

I love this video, the owners arent dragging it in, it lures it in, so he can go in only if he wants, and they taught him to get out by his self, that'll come in handy if it ever falls in (: oh and its adorable ! :DDD i tried to get my chihuahua and he did NOT like it lol ahahahhah
The video is very cute, but... This isn't a very good way to introduce a puppy to water. See how frantically she is trying to get out, before someone says, "She likes it!"? Try using a kiddie pool with a few inches of water and hotdog pieces as motivation. :)
