  • When in doubt..... EXTERMINATUS!!!

  • they shouldve done this in avatar, RDA can surely drop a few nukes from orbit and cleanse the blue monkeys with nuclear fire

  • @CryptWarrior69 They would be risking a chain reaction then.

The mineral they were mining is highly reactive (supposed to revolutionize power generation capabilities). Conventional weapons were not enough to set it off, but detonating nukes above those mineral deposits would start the process of a big boom... might even wreck the whole planet.

  • @HaloPokemon5Master

Why would anyone nuke thos blue pygmies? Avatar was just crap.

Should be savage sloughterfest as was on so many occasions.

  • @CryptWarrior69 you'dd give a private compagny acces to nuclear weaponary?

    retard

  • @notenufdaka ever learn English? try it some time

  • what mission?

  • I would like the Tau in dow 2 but nothing from that .... :(

  • Would an Exterminatus "kill" the Necron (A Virus Bomb wouldnt)?

btw.:Why are there so many ships, dont they need just one for the Exterminatus?

  • @ABW941 I think others are there to escort main vessel. There is huge amount of hostile in sector.

  • @Jaakynsi also to weaken the surface of planet and it's need to be fast so lesser ones with orbital cannons are requied

  • @ABW941 Exterminatus needs all those ships to make sure that nothing in that planet survives. And yes exterminatus can kill most of necrons. The exterminatus in Rettribution is 3 phased. 1. orbital bombardment 2. virus bombs that poison the atmosphere and make it flamable 3. the big shot that nearly cuts the planet in half.

  • @wxrgyphg12 no, there are multiple forms of exterminatus. This one had two stages, bombard then Two stage cyclonic torpedo.

  • @ABW941 sure, if they could quickly jump in, fire, and jump out. The Warp makes that almost impossible, plus they have to stick around in orbit and recite that speech.

So the Inquisitor needs the other ships to escort him until the Exterminatus takes place.

  • @HaloPokemon5Master Who is holding the Speech?

At first i thought it was Gabriel Angelus, but he is no Inquisitor and therefor not allowed to order Exterminatus.

  • @ABW941 Probably just one of the ship captains.

  • @ABW941 Sphess mahreens are authorised to launch exterminatus in the name of the Emperah

  • Imperium sucks, they are manipulated by all and sundry

  • As usual with 40k, I can't help but wonder why amazing fleets like this don't just bombard enemy positions from space...

  • @Henners1991 Exterminatus is an extreme measure that is generally frowned upon. The total loss of a planet is usually more detrimental to the Imperium at large. In terms of Orbital bombardment, the Adeptus Astartes Fleet does regularly bombard enemy positions before engaging.

  • @elydis Also during orbital bombardments, since just about every world has the same pre-fabricated buildings, due to STC's, a great many world have very similar defences. Those worlds often have bunkers that can withstand an orbital bombardment. Few alien worlds are ever really conquered anymore, so the Imperium often responds to threats to worlds of theirs besieged which tend to be valuable either way as elydis said.

  • @Henners1991 Exterminatus is a last resort if the planet isn't worth fighting for. Places like forge worlds wouldn't be destroyed simply because the lose of the planet would mean losing key pieces of technology potentially forever.

  • @Henners1991 Usually the places that the Guard get sent to fight are too important to just flatten. Remember the beginning of Space Marine? Exterminatus was one of the options considered but the loss of Manufactorum Ajakis and the rest of Graia and its importance to the Mechanicus, Collegia Titanica and the Imperial War Machine in general was considered unacceptable. Even an Ork Waaagh wasn't enough to deploy the Titans until Nemeroth showed up.

  • Play Angels of Dead from Dawn of War II while watching, Brilliant :)

  • Could've been worse... could've used Virus Bombs.

  • @DrumMajorB

Virus Bombardment isn't as effective, while the virus does in fact literally melt any organic thing on the surface, and the firestorm cleansing everything and beyond, it doesn't really penetrate the surface of the planet, leaving people and creatures underground or in airtight shelter alive.

Godsplitter on the other hand seems to decimate the entire planet, surface and beneath.

  • @Poiuppi Godsplitter is the Daemon Hammer of Gabriel Angelos the warhead used in this Exterminatus is a Cyclonic warhead. In this case, it looks like a two stage cyclonic warhead.

  • @elydis

I stand corrected, but I think I delivered my point regardless.

  • @elydis Aren't two-stage cyclonic warheads designed to drill into the ground and detonate in the core of the planet? This looked more like a more typical cyclonic warhead, seeing how it was a surface detonation that ignited the atmosphere.

  • @Poiuppi Plus virus bombs feed Nurgle.

  • @Poiuppi Godsplitter is a Daemon hammer which formally was in the possession of inquisitor Toth, Which was given to Gabriel Angelos of the Blood ravens 3rd comapny during the fight on Tartarus.

  • @HaloDrwhoSG1SGASGU actualy no, it's a thunder hammer forged with a piece of an eldar avatar's sword...

  • @notenufdaka I know I was just stating with acquisition of it, and no it is not a proper thunder hammer, it is a Daemon hammer a special type of Thunder hammer, and Yeah it is forged with a shard of an Avatar of Khaine's weapon, (the weapon is shape shifting)

  • And this, my friends, is why we DO. NOT. FUCK. WITH. THE. INQUISITION.

  • This would have been a much more powerful scene if they had shown the humans on the ground being killed. For example if at first the people look up and think they're saved but then they see the ordinance vaporizing entire cities in the distance.

The looks of terror on their faces as they see their doom approaching would have been heart-wrenching to say the least.

  • Good to know there's a ceremony for blowing up a planet.

  • Wait Typhon? that's the jedi homeworld =O

  • @watchamacarcess

In Retribution in Typhoon appear all signs of unending heresy. Planet was infested by Chaos, most of Xenos forces (Orcs, Eldars, Tyranids). There was no chance to redeem this pitifull planet. Praise the Emperor.

  • @watchamacarcess It is. But only done in response to an uncontrollable Chaos infestation. Thats what happened there...

  • This video should be renamed: How avatar should have ended.

  • @BoroMonokli yup so true

  • Holy goodness. Until now, at 1:17, I didn't realize:

    THAT's the Exterminatus bomb.

  • @Talbron lol haha "Holy goodness" sorry for the bad pun :3

  • @Talbron OMG!

  • @Talbron

    HOLY SHI-

  • Is a long speech realy necesary just press the big red button

  • @emilpersson96 No, but this is the inquisition, to them everything deserves a speech.

  • The Emperor protects.

  • just so I can be clear the daemon he released at the end of dawn of war makes another appearance

  • He consigned a million souls to Oblivion? Well, all those people never get to see Skyrim.

  • @BlackTemplar43 I used to perform Exterminatus, but then I took a bolt to the knee.

  • @BlackTemplar43 bilion*

  • @notenufdaka If you are going to correct someone, at least do so correctly. It is "a million souls", not billion.

  • Anyone else felt a tear while watching this?

  • how Avatar should have ended

  • @mager56723

    Jake:"Eywa, help us!"

    in orbit: "open fire!"

    Pandora blows up

  • @HaloDrwhoSG1SGASGU

Jake:"Eywa, help us!" ... dies along with his blue monkies due to viral weaponry distributed via blankets. :D

  • @HaloDrwhoSG1SGASGU Eywa is a powerfull psychic entity so yes, she'dd be able to do something, besides, Russ would kill every single one of you if you did that(seeds of the life tree for the Emperah)

  • @mager56723 daww, why do you have to spoil the fun for the Avatar fans?

  • @notenufdaka Because their tears are delicious. They taste like those really expensive swiss chocolates

  • when do you see this in the game?

  • @TheAngelOfDeath9 Half way or so through the campaign.

  • @TheAngelOfDeath9 When you attack typhon in an attempt to kill Azaria Kyras, after killing the eldar fo the first time in the game

  • I want to make some custom blast templates with those targeting reticules on them.

  • They shall be My Hammer, the sword in My hand, the gauntlet about My fist, the bane of My foes and woes of the treacherous. When no others may stand beside them, they shall fight. Only the greatest shall enter their ranks, for unto them do I entrust stewardship over the Gates of Hell.

    - The Charge of the Malleus

  • What do you get when you mix the Daleks with the Inquisition? a group of xenophobes whos solution to everything is "Exterminatus! EXTERMINATUS!"

  • I wish this music played when i spoke epic lines

  • The lines in this scene still send shivers everytime I hear it...

"I hereby sign the death warrant of an entire world, and consign a million souls to oblivion..."

  • @SuwinTzi WTF you mean by a million? Exterminatus does not Kill "Millions" he said BILLIONS. WTF U THINK THEY ARE?

  • @MrAlcholicmonkey He said million... NOT billion

  • Exertmiatus:

There is only one way to truly be sure...

  • Ha, followers of chaos, nothing but slaves begging for scraps off their god's table.

  • Remember - death and destruction is what feeds the Great Powers of Chaos .. you're exterminatus only makes us stronger. INTERNAL GLORY TO CHAOS !!

  • @ursa0607 Yeah? Well you know what? I don't believe in Chaos. Cmon guys, they can't hurt you if you don't believe they exist!

  • @LordofDarkness42 The ones to believe in Chaos are feeding it , but not as much as those who worship it. BUT ! Even if you don't believe in Chaos, even if you have no idea what Chaos, Warp, Daemons, telepathy and other Warp-related stuff means, you are still feeding Chaos as long as you have any basic emotions ....... We are unstoppable ! FOR THE PLAGUE-FATHER !!!

  • @ursa0607 *Plugs ears screaming "I can't hear you"*

  • @LordofDarkness42 It matters not, mortal fool ... I already have your soul .... MUHAHAHAHAHAAA !!!!

  • @ursa0607 Too bad im a blank. No sale.

  • @LordofDarkness42 Aaawww crap .. Again .... You guys are simply no fun

    P.S. ;-D

  • @ursa0607 unless someone uses the holocaust spell...which just ruins everybody's day.

  • Imperator Patronus Tectum

  • 2:12 my desktop background ;D

  • God Splitter? haha I would name my Hammer "Fist of Norris"

  • Me: Hey, Andrastea, I have a problem. I accidentally got my girlfriend pregnant, and I think I accidentally got her pregnant. What should I do?

    Andrastea: -.-' ... ... ...

Me: I think the baby might be tainted by Chaos.

Andrastea: *Holds up clothes hanger* EXTERMINATUS! D:<

    Me: Gladly, babe! ;)

  • @Arturius Nice redundancy.

  • The Ordo Malleus vs Greenpeace :p

  • @AzraelDarkAngel540 let's take score shall we?

    Greenpeace: several thousand peaceful protestors

Ordo Malleus: Exterminatus fleets, support of the God Emperor, Grey Knights, Space Marines

Ordo Malleus wins 99 out of 100 times

only time they 'lost' was because they took a religious holiday and didn't show up

but Blood Ravens were sent in in their place, so all was good

  • @eagleandy1

    hahahaha nice one! :p

  • @eagleandy1 lol

  • @eagleandy1 you sent blood ravens? either you're not very fond of your stuff or you are retarded

  • @AzraelDarkAngel540 Whoever wins, we lose...

  • @AzraelDarkAngel540, go Ordo Malleus!

  • I mean when the fleet commander talks... not the second part.

  • @Morthond02 Oh that wasn't a Grey Knight. That was Chuck Norris :)

  • @ultimatedirtclod Chuck Norris is a pussy compared to an average Imperial Guard. And let's not talk about the Grey Knight's themselves )))

  • @TriEdgeAI

The Grey Knights break Chuck Norris in half, in the name of the God Emperor our shield and protector.

  • @Morthond02 The Emperor doesn't even need to get up from his Throne to obliterate Chuck Norris. Praise the Emperor and strike down His foes!!!!

  • @Morthond02

Actually no. It was an Inquisitor.

  • The Narrator is a Grey Knight...

  • @Morthond02

    No, it is Gabriel Angelos.

  • "But, my Lord High Inquisitor, wouldn't a planet's atmosphere deflect a conventional shell? It would take something the size of an asteroid to successfully strike the ground."

"That is why we made a shell the size of an asteroid."

  • Man, Pandora's seen better days.

  • @TheKsalad yeah, kill those tau mutants!

  • @TheKsalad this should have been Avatar 2 :P the message is the same in either case; don't fuck with the human race (Y)

  • Wish I had these songs. Would totally be badass to drive to work listening to this. "You have been found guilty of heresy. The penalty... is filing TPS reports!"

  • We have a arrived, and it is now that we perform our charge. In fealty of the God-Emperor, our undying lord, and by the grace of the Golden Throne, I declare Exterminatus upon the imperial world Typhon Primaris I

hereby sign the death warrant of an entire world, and consign a million souls to oblivion. May Imperial justice account in all balance. The Emperor protects.

  • THIS IS THE EMPEROR NOT GIVING 4 FUCKS

  • sir, someone is selling khorne flakes on thypon primaris.

    inquisitor: HERESY, EXTERMINATUS WAGERLAZEGGHODIJFOSEES

  • I realise every piece of fiction is full of holes, but I never understood why, if the Imperium is prepared to Exterminatus their own planets when things go sour, why they don't send fleets into the Eye of Terror, and wipe out every chaos controlled world? Bad sportsnamnship?

In the Grim Darkness of the Future there would be no more war.

  • @thegreatchimp

Because the energies of the warp will twist the minds of every single human being in the Imperial fleet. They will turn their loyalty to Chaos or die a horrible death.

Only Grey Knights or Exorcists could withstand the twisting power of the Dark Gods. But they are few in number compared to the traitor Legions and demons.

  • @RevenantIgor Then a ship with only the best of the best on a raid mission would be successful? Also for everyone else wondering what thegreatchimp said, it was about sending ships through the Eye of Terror or something to obliterate all chaos worlds.

  • @SparkServant

I didn't say the raid mission with a couple thousand space marines would be successful. I just said that they could endure the twisting powers of the Gods and will probably kill at least some demons and CSM. But overall it will be pointless attack with great casualties.

  • @RevenantIgor Oh.. so even if they get through .. the'll be overwhelmed by numbers =\

  • @SparkServant and also....chaos has their own fleet. They would not stay put while an imperium ship blows their planet

  • @raargh2 I guess there's not much they could do in a hit and run before the fleet comes..

  • The fate all bronies deserve

  • Comment removed

  • @5282890 You would wish me a quick death? Odd... How very merciful. Your going to have to deal with us I am afraid. I'm both Chaos, and a Brony. You take life to seriously, you need to lighten up, you only get one of them.

I'm not a person faps to ponies, thats furries. Don't get us mixed up. I watch the show cause its entertaining. I respect the Inquisition, not hate it. If what I be is Heretical, then I shall die a heretic. But I will enjoy the remaining time I have to live. Don't be so mad.

  • @VascusGaming As a brony, I find your lack of faith to the Emperor disturbing.

    TO THE VOID WITH YOU

  • @SirFormidio I've been here for 10,000 years! I CANT GO TO WHERE I ALREADY AM LOL Till Failbaddon decides to launch another Fail Crusade, I'll make my own plans in Medrengard. Cheers Brother.

  • @VascusGaming Alright, 1.) no chaos marines are in the void. They are in the warp. The void is like the warp, only the Daemons there cannot be controlled. 2.) Abaddon launched the most successful crusade, and the Imperial Fists no longer go on crusades. They have dedicated their existence to defending planets, not conquering them. The Templar's go on Crusades now.

And remember, we all face the threat of the Necron and the Tyranids. Fate will determine who lasts longer.

  • @SirFormidio The void and eye of terror slip seamlessly with each other, the immaeterrium and aether are one and the same. Daemonic voices whisper and daemonic voices are banished. Its an ongoing chaos. To understand the warp, void, and eye of terror. All of which are one in the same, all maddening , just different things, choose to inhabit it. Abaddon's crusades have failed, theres few Chaos Lords or Daemon Primarchs that get things done like Angron. Cadia is strong, and Abaddon is a fool.

  • @SirFormidio Are you trying to bring order and understanding to disorder and chaos? Thats Heretical? YOU TRY TO KNOW MUCH OF THE WARP, HEREEEEESSYYY!, a Daemon is But a Eventual Slave of Chaos, None are Uncontrollable, it Depends on the Strength of the Sorceror who tries to take it for himself, For a Loyalist who pretends to know of the Warp, you Suuuurrreeee spout a LOT of HERESY!, Derp?!

  • @SirFormidio And Trying to Bring Logic of the Warp to Two Chaos Bronies, One a Warsmith, the Other a Daemon Prince, Who knows A LOT more of the Warp than you pal, is a Mark of HERESY in HERESY itself, Its like a Heretical Quotation within a Heretical Quotation of Immaculate Proportions, Silly Silly Spehss Mahreen

  • @GamesAndIDontMatch Heresrception!

  • Thumbs up for anyone who watched this at least 20 times again and again.

  • 1:17 OMG IS THAT THE BOMBSHELL!?!?!?!?

  • @Sw3dishSanta

yep. all couple-hundred-tons of decade-long-construction of it

  • "....to further fear them is redundant....."

Speaking of redundancies, what is the point of bombarding the planet before hitting it with a Cyclone torpedo?

  • @Violent2aShadow To soften it up i guess. Kinda like using a mallet to tenderize a meat before putting it through the grill ^_^

  • @Violent2aShadow and also to remove any possible defensive structure than could intercept the coming torpedo

  • @Violent2aShadow Boring a hole to the core, then launching that torpedo.

  • Comment removed

  • Damn imperials having to do an exterminatus every time they lose a planet

  • What does the bomb do? Make an explosive chain reaction of the atoms which is in the atmosphere on the planet? Because that whould explain why the whole world get's devoured in a maw of fire that doesn't exceed the atmosphere level.

  • @atatyrknumber1

They shoot a Cyclone torpedo at the world's core.

  • @atatyrknumber1 a cyclonic torpedo explodes with a force great enough to ignite the atmosphere, which starts a chain reaction that reaths the world in fire.

there are other types of exterminatus, like the Life-Eater virus which literally turns all the organisms on a planet to a stinking mess of goo. one shot from orbit ignites the flammable gases and it all burns away.

the Imperium have got exterminatus pretty well covered.

  • Why were there called Exterminatus again? was it to get the Grand libarian? i cant remember his name.. The founder of the blood ravens or such

  • @Kingandhorse Angelos accused the Chapter Master, the current leader and also the First Librarian of the Blood Ravens of Heresy, combine that with the Tyranid infestation, Ork Raiders, Chaos invasions, and the Inquisition decided enough is enough, so they sent the fleet in to destroy the sub-sector and get rid of the heresy, xenos, and Ruinous Powers that had taken hold.

  • "The emperor protects..." Last words of Chuck Norris before he plays some piano with virus bomb buttons...

  • Standard Imperium strategy as of M41/999: if all else fails, blow it all to oblivion

  • "...And so the Emperor said let it be, and so we heeded the words of our God..."

  • I have read books, tryd to imagin nothing comes close to that.

    exterminatus, the final solution....

and they fucking do this once weak, crazy mofos this imp´s

crap thx the lord they did not perform they same show like on krieg, 500 year long vid.

by the way this is the head shoot solution in inqusition terms, there are much more cruel.

  • only in warhammer 40k can destroying a planet and all its civilians be justified

  • @superstrok99

The Inquisition merely performs the duty of its Office, to further fear them is redundant, to hate them heretical.

  • "I hereby sign the death warrant of an entire wurrrld."

Truly one of the most grimdark thing I've ever heard.

  • @CommissarTails

    That's the point.

  • Virus bombs.....gotta love em

  • i was hopeing for more glassing

  • Oooooooohhhhhh shiiiii--iiiiiit sooooooon.

  • The Emperor protects. (kneels and makes Aquila)

  • *meanwhile in Typhon, a chaos cultist looks at the big bomb*

Cultist: Game over man! Game over!

  • plzzzzzzzzzz make a movie, this is a milion times better than ultramarines

  • The Emperor protects....LOL

  • PURGE

  • Holy shit i get chills, hearing the death warrant for Typhon...

  • the ordo malleus has send us to aid you

    lol

  • Do it again, i didn't watch!

  • the survivors from typhon primaris disliked this video

  • @notenufdaka and the inquisition is now "questioning" them

  • OMG THEY DROPED THE BIG ONE! REPEAT: THEY DROPED THE BIG ONE! over

  • The ending reminded me of the ending of Fire Warrior.

  • Finally, a way to deal with the MLP infection.

  • @Melanth89

Rejoice, my fellow humans, for through faith and fire the heathen talking horses have been cleansed of their sins.

Rejoice, for another threat to Glorious Mankind has been nipped in the bud.

Ave Imperium. Ave Humanitas. Ave Imperator.
