On nature programs they have SABRE TOOTH TIGERS taking down Ancient Rhinos & WOOLY MAMMOTH. And T-REX and the Bigger ALLASAURUS, taking down Brontasaurus as tall as a telephone Poll & heavier than 10 elephants. They think that every Animal had their Predator! They do when they're first Born.
DIRE WOLF pack may have preyed on Mammoth. Single Sabre Tooth, NO.
@simotastic1 a douchebag is a small rubber/plastic device that i insist your mom cleans her snatch with prior to me shoving my love rod inside her. take a back seat sunshine
@simotastic1 now this fucking bullshitter is claiming he owns a ridgeback. Yet hes on here telling us how shit they are. How convenient. Your Fanboy symptoms have become apparent. Your opinions are now invalid due to your crazy claims. I suppose youve got a pet lion/tiger cross as well.. get the fuck outa here
@simotastic1 writing in capitals means you are shouting at your screen whilst writing. Its not your laptops fault mate, its your problem.. its called acute fanboyitus. what a douche. Life failure?? you dont even know me you penis. you must be american
Fuckin having a go with no fucking facts. Your comments are clear as day personal attacks. look up ridgeback on google people, read the facts and come back an mock this twat. Fuck right off you bullshitting bastards know fine well that ridgebacks are lion hunters. Its proper name is African Lion Dog. debunked you are a undercover fanboy to the extreme. 2 ridgebacks can bash a lion up real good you douche.. fact! Rhinos and elephants bash lions for fun. grow up
@simotastic1 fucking bollox mate. You are a true bullshitter. Ridgebacks sometimes walked solo with there master for protection against lions. If they were being used to hunt solo male lions then two dogs done just fine. Have you seen how physically fit these dogs are and the way they can twist. If the dog gets into trouble it simply goes into a roll and the lion tumbles straight over the top of it. They're born with the instinct to do that as well as bite lions in the jaw or nose. fanboy fag
i could give a single lion a half decent fight. rhinos and elephants might occasionally be taken down by a pride of lions but the lions choose there targets carefully, usually the young, small, injured or sick animals. would all the lion fanboys please grow up because ridgebacks hunt lions and they're only slightly above average sized dogs. dont argue with me about it, argue with the tribes that use them to hunt and kill lions on a daily basis. lion and shark fanboys are funny as fuck
@nutsack1888 Shut your gay ass and don;t comment. I love dogs but even several dogs are no match for a Lion. Lion kicks Tiger ass and I'll kick yrs. All you need to know.
@nutsack1888 Ridgebacks have been used to hunt lions for decades.
And to all the fanbois out their, all these animals are amazing, they are all good in their own settings, fuck giraffes have been know to kill lions, wolves and other predators, with a single kick..
@hoyfanofboulder Ad hominem is usually used when one doesn't have an actual argument to give. I find it funny how you don't even attempt to refute my argument, you know your wrong so your only argument is to attempt to insult me FAIL. This is why fanboys are funny to laugh at, next time you reply, try to show a little more civility.
@roberto33097 yes there is you dick.. its called a ridgeback and its well documented that they can seriously fuck a lions day up. get a grip you stupid ideots
Lions kill the Largest (Elephants), Tallest (Giraffes) and most deadly (Hippos, Buffalo) animals alive.
You could not give a Lion a fight. It would tear you to peices within seconds. Ill educate you because ur a DUMBFUCK.

@I3radley Lions have never once killed a fully, healthy adult bull elephant. They have only ever been recorded in killing calves and small females. Lions have never once been recorded in killing a fully healthy adult bull rhino, or hippo. They hunt intelligently, they go for the sick or injured, or the smaller weaker ones like calves or the females of the species.
@I3radley elephants chase lions you moron. you are a thick cunt. so let me get this right... your saying 1 lion can kill 1 elephant??? please answer this so we can all laugh like fuck! you must be american or somethin

Yet I don't see anything in that list about lions taking on an adult male bull elephant, or a bull rhino or a bull hippo. Stop being a fanboy, they are all amazing animals, no 1 is better then the other. Lions are amazing in their own setting, so are hyenas, cat's, dogs, elephants, hippos, leopards and every other animal.
Anyway, I shall be leaving now, you have been proven wrong on multiple occasions now, you are now aware that lions have no major threats besides humans and members of their own species and that they are the dominant species of animal on the plains.
You may reply if you want but I'm afraid I won't be reading them it will be deleted as soon as I see your name. Goodbye I hope you have learned from your errors.
@MrFeatherr ""You may reply if you want but I'm afraid I won't be reading them it will be deleted as soon as I see your name. Goodbye I hope you have learned from your errors"" LOL!! good bye, you are nothing but a fanatical lion fanboy who refues to believe anything not in the lions favor
@MrFeatherr Errors? Nope....the erros come from you, in fact. A lion can kill a rhino and elepahnt? in many ways? A lone lion killing a cape buffalo is very common? Elepahnts do not chase lions? the lion was not seriusly injured from a bull's horns? I can go on forever, you are the one with errors with strong denial in your heart.
@MrFeatherr Wrong wrong and wrong. You cannot prove how their are many "ways" a lion can kill an elephant. You cannot prove how a lion can kill a rhino, and so on. Congratulations, you have proven yourself to be the number one lion fanboy on youtube ""You may reply if you want but I'm afraid I won't be reading them it will be deleted as soon as I see your name"" It bothers you to admit a lions inabilities vs some some animals doesnt it? You are a complete lionfanboy fanatic.
@MrFeatherr Lions tend not to want to fuck with elephants, they only hunt the calves and small females. Elephants are quite arrogant as they don't like to take crap from any species, even if they are in threat from another. When it comes to lions, elephants won't tolerate their presence, especially when their are calves around. Lions are meat eaters, so the elephants consider them a threat and run them off.
@vikeyev1 You think ur a 'know-it-all' when u are a loser relpying to every1's comments because you have nothing better to do with ur life.
Lions do kill fully grown Elephant and Hippos.
Google ‘Savuti pride’. 'These Lions are expert elephant killers, and have been mastering it for decades as the elephant is the only meal around during the dry season. 2 lionesses have even been reported and photographed taking down a 10-15 year old female elephant. The pride has even taken down bulls'.
@gingy717 Oh btw ass muncher, I have still yet to see a citation of a lion taking down a fully grown male bull elephant. It's people like you that make videos like this retarded because your so wrapped up about the fact that you want to suck a lions dick that you ignore the fact that ALL OF THESE ANIMALS ARE AMAZING. No 1 animal is king of beasts. Not only that lions have been killed by giraffes and warthogs before, when has an elephant or a hippo or rhino been killed by giraffes or warthogs.
@vikeyev1 YOU DIDNT SAY IT HAS NEVER BEEN RECORDED YOU SAID 'Lions have never once killed a fully, healthy adult bull elephant' you fucking, retarded, slut, loser, motherfucking, ass loving, moron, dickhead, cock sucking, shitty peice of sewage that should be killed and flushed down a toilet.
Lions DO kill fully grown Hippos and Elephants + Many other animals in Africa that weigh more then 3x themselves.
@gingy717 LOL you fucking fanboy, did you actually check the link I sent you, the link was not for a video you fuckwit, not only that when you see a warthog tooth in a lioness neck it tends to scream *MOTHERFUCK GOT KILLED BY A WARTHOG* not only that they were park rangers, they are their to make sure poachers don't go killing the animals and to help the injured ones, WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY LIE YOU STUPID ARROGANT CUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@vikeyev1 I never said animals where not amazing. I just said Lions are the MOST amazing. NO other land carnivore can kill The largest (Elephant), tallest (Giraffe) and most deadly (Buffalo, Hippos etc) animals alive.
Lions also fight many carnivores like Packs of Hyena's (sometimes 40+), Leopards, Wild Dogs, Cheetahs, Crocs etc.
You name me 1 other land carnivore that can kill Elephants, Hippos, Giraffes etc.
No other land carnivore can kill female Elephants and u admitted Lions can.
@gingy717 I never said you said animals are not amazing, what I said was they are all amazing. Lions do not kill the largest elephants, you have yet to show me a citation of these lions taking on a fully grown bull male.
Lastly, humans. We have successfully killed almost every animal on the planet, forcing many into extinction. Not only that we have domesticated many animals and also use lions, bears, elephants and much more as show animals.
@gingy717 that was a link to an article written by paula from the wildlife direct team. They came across what she says is the first she's even heard of this happening. A warthog killed an adult lioness by stabbing it in the jugular with it's tusks, the lion died rather quickly and the warthog retreated back to it's hole where it later died from it's previous injuries.
If you trust records and Articles then why don't you trust the article on the 'Savuti pride'.
Documenters here have reported and photographed 'Lions killing fully grown Elephants. There is photographic proof of 2 lionesses taking down a 10-15 year old female elephant. The pride has even taken down bulls'.
If you trust an article why don't you trust records and photographs?
@vikeyev1 I believe Lions could kill a fully grown Elephant.
There are vids showing Lions climbing a Giraffes neck to kill it 'First EVER "Lion KILLS Giraffe" Caught on Tape!!!' and other videos of Male Lions killing Hippos by biting their spines ‘Lion attack Hippo Krugerpark’ by ‘Damage996'.
So why couldn't Lions climb on top of an Elephant and bite into its spine (Paralysing it).
As I said u have ur opinion/ I have mine. I know you will not change your mind and I will not change mine.
@gingy717 because elephants are far stronger then giraffes, and as much as you claim "I believe Lions could kill a fully grown Elephant" belief doesn't make it true, people believe that a magical omnipotent sky daddy is watching their every move and if they be bad they will burn for all eternity, that doesn't make it true.
@vikeyev1 As i said u pathetic loser piece of SHIT, almost EVERY animal in Africa has horns, teeth, tusks that can gore other animals. ONE Lion with a wound doesnt prove a thing.
Lions DO kill fully grown bulls. Google 'Savuti pride' u ignorant piece of sewage. There are pictures and records. 2 Lionesses killed a bull Elephant (Look it up dumbfuck).
Ill send u the links because u r obviously to much of an ignorant pathetic fuckwit to do it yourself.
@gingy717 LOL maybe you should grow a brain, already checked the links and much more, heres the excerpt you twisted around about the two females killing a *FULLY GROWN ADULT BULL MALE*
*The two Lionesses had just brought down an elephant cow of approximately ten years old*
Firstly, ten years old is not fully grown, secondly and most importantly, the cow is the female, you stupid mother fucker.
Lastly, did I not see you say earlier a picture and article prove nothing, what did you link me to?
@vikeyev1 Also the 'Lion kills Hippo' videos on utube show very large hippos being killed. I would say they are fully grown (Or at least 'near' fully grown).
How do know that 'Lions have never once killed a fully, healthy adult bull elephant'?
Have you seen EVERY fight between Lions and Elephants over the past 1000+ years they have lived?
You are a retard. Lions and Elephants have co-existed for literally thousands of years and im sure at least ONE pride has taken a fully grown bull.
@gingy717 I said it was never once recorded FUCKWIT, and not once did you quote a recorded video of a lion taking down a full healthy male bull elephant fuckwit and guess what, all hippos are fucking large. Your only defense in that is to say "oh well I would say it is fully grown" and I said they kill the females cock muncher. Not only that your guarantee doesn't mean jackshit fanboy cock face, because your guarantee is not evidence of ANYTHING.
@vikeyev1 Stop acting like a 'know it all' and stop acting like you have seen every fight in history because I guarantee LIONS HAVE KILLED FULLY GROWN ELEPHANTS AND HIPPOS. Savuti pride records and videos prove it.
Its only a matter of time and Lions will be recorded destroying Rhinos because Lions are the KING OF BEASTS.
PS: Call me a fanboy if you want because I don't give a fuck what you think bitch.
Wow, just wow. Two people arguing for weeks on youtube. As someone once said. Arguing on youtube is like performing in the special olympics. You might win, but you're still retarded...
I wasn't answering your dumb question because it was annoying. I have already told you if choosing to fight a single lion stands a far better chance of killing a rhino than the other way around. Lion and rhino interaction is very rare however, rhinos have very poor eyesight and when faced with an attacking lion will often choose to run away rather than fight. Rhinos even run away against adulescant tigers.
@MrFeatherr a lion fares a better chance of killing a rhino? Lion fanboyism at its finest!Seriously wrong.Rhinos have very thick, armored like skin, they have immense power, they are the 2nd largest mammals on land. Absolutely no way a lion can bring down an adult rhino, it is simply too large and powerful to take down, also a rhino's deadly horns. They have poor eyesight, but a great sense of smell. When you say a lion can kill a rhino, you prove to be a biased, close minded hardcore lion fanboy
It is not being a 'fanboy', it is being realistic, all you have said is because a rhino is big and strong it can easily kill a lion. More likely even though you have been proven wrong many times you have resigned yourself to the misguided notion that lions are weak and overrated and stubbournly refuse to change your mind no matter how much evidence is thrown at you. Instead giving me situations of where malnourished lions died because you have no real evidence to support your claims.
@MrFeatherr Wrong. Its obvious a lion is a very successful hunter. My point is that a lion is still vulnerable to threats in the wild. lol and the best part, you say stubbornly? Look at yourself before you say that word. You state a lion was not inujured from the buffalo's wound, you state a buffalo is "big and strong thats all" underestimating the buffalo, you state a lion (lol) can kill a rhino , you state a lion is a threat to an elephant etc. You really are desparate
A lion is vulnerable to threats noone ever said they weren't, lean to read please. I'll quote George B Schaller again when I said a lion has no other natural enemy that poses a serious threat in the wild other than humans and other lions. Again, learn to read, I stated the lion was not seriously injured like you keep claiming obviously she was injured however if it were serious she wouldn't have been able to walk. It's not underestimating it's pitting the lions advantages which are quite clear
@MrFeatherr lol again. You say the lion was not "seriously injured". A desperate excuse to hide the fact that the lion was indeed injured. (seriously or not, thats a different story). Oh wait, you state it was just a flesh wound......lions can walk on water too right?
No it's not a different story, as I have clearly stated many times before now, lions get injured all the time hunting. Even porcupines have injured lions. You are veering away from the original point of being a serious injury or a serious threat to just an 'injury'. So yes whilst the buffalo did indeed injure the lioness it was clearly not a serious injury as she trotted away hardly even limping.
@MrFeatherr Threat does not only mean killing, if that is what you mean, an injury inflicted by another animals/person can also mean a threat, and a buffalo capable on seriously injuring a lion is a threat. And you blindly believe the lion was not seriously injured in the video? Now you tell me, would the lion be able to run after a wound like that? Would it be able to keep up with the pride? If its just trotting away, hardly limping, you are just biased as the hardcore lion fanboy that you are
No it does not, however the original debate was about killing a lion then turned into serious injury. As I have already said a buffalo is quite capable of seriously injuring a lion however the chances of it happening are extremely low, indeed it is practically unheard of for a buffalo to kill a healthy adult lion. It's not a blind belief as you can clearly see the lioness walking away hardly limping. What do you mean keep up with the pride? the pride aren't exactly going to run away from her lol
@MrFeatherr I told you about 5 times already, a bull when outnumbered by a pride of lions wont be easy to defend itself, though they can at times. A martial artist cannot successfully defend itself when surrounded and outnumbered. Same goes for a bull when it is outnumbered by a pride of lion, though, that bull was still able to injure a lion. No, the debate was on your obsessive belief that no animal poses a threat to a lion.
It won't be easy for a single buffalo to defend themselves against a lion regardless of a pride or not. That's a simple fact. The lioness was in a position she wouldn't have been when attacking alone, and even still it was not a serious injury. Not only that you keep going on about numbers, an average hunting team of lioness's is around 4 or 5 individuals, sometimes the males help and they attack buffalo herds numbering up to 200 individuals. Actually I keep repeating serious threat read please.
Well that's a little silly, the seriousness of the injury can not be determined by the violence of the attack, it wouldn't matter if the buffalo picked her up and threw her 20 feet away, if the lioness simply got up and shook herself off, then trotted away hardly even limping it would mean she is not seriously injured. Such is the case in this incident, she wasn't even bleeding heavily.
So, what's your point? A porcupine can injure a lion making it a threat but not a serious threat. A heavy tree branch falling onto a lion can cause injury making it a threat but not a serious threat. I'll repeat as quoted by George B Schaller, lions have no major threats or enemies besides humans and members of it's own species. Yes, even if the lioness was thrown 20 feet away, if she simply got up and trotted away hardly even limping, it is not a serious injury.
@MrFeatherr No. You state a porcupine can also injure a lion. Indeed they can but can a porcupine skewer a lion with its horns like a much larger and powerful animal as the buffalo? Even while outnumbered by 4-5 lions? Lame excuse. Of course you understand that a buffalo is more capable of injuring a lion than a porcupine?
You stated to me that 'injured', was the keyword thus by that logic a porcupine is more of a threat to a lion than a buffalo as lions are injured far mre often when they come into contact with a porcupine. As such you have contradicted yourself once more, the key word is not injured but rather the key question is was how often could this animal seriously injure a lion? It is exceedingly rare for any animal other than humans and members of it's own species to seriously injure a healthy adult.
@MrFeatherr No, it is just another pathetic, lame excuse of yours, as usual. How many times have I stated to you about buffalos being vastly outnumbered? It won't be easy for the bull to successfully defend itself, yet that one bull was still able to at least injure a lion. Can a porcupine do that? Yes, they can injure lions, but not as seriously as a buffalo.
Lol, and how many times have I told you that 4 to 5 lioness's attack a herd of 200 buffalo so you can't really use that desperate 'outnumbered' excuse when the lions tackle 100's of buffalo and kill one. Thankyou very much lol, you've just agreed with me again in a different mindset, the keyword was in fact 'seriously', as you just stated, and then you should know how rare it is for a buffalo to seriously injure a lion thus making it far less of a threat.
Does the whole herd of buffalo attack the lions? Why yes they do, it is common practice for a couple of lions to corner and kill one buffalo and for the rest to see the buffalo herd off. such as with the case of those 3 male lions against 200 buffalo. So I'd suggest you try again.
@MrFeatherr So you are saying a whole entire herd of 200 buffalos charges and attack the lions? No they do not. A number of buffalos defend their ground, but if the entire herd were to surround and attack the lions, they would obviously be outnumbered, with a big disadvantage
@MrFeatherr Well then, whether its a rarity or not, as you have stated, a buffalo capable of seriously injuring a lion is a threat. As in keeping up with the pride, If the lion pride is attacking another bull, will that lion that was skewered by the bull on it's legs be able to keep up with the other lions that are running towards its prey? Blind belief? No, its blind when you state the lion was not seriously injured, it is just a "flesh wound"
We are talking about major threats here, as in seriously injuring a lion or killing them. I have never once said lions have no threats in the wild, I have constantly echoed George B Schaller in that no other animals besides humans an other lions pose a serious threat to a healthy adult lion. Perhaps if you learned to read properly you wouldn't have made that mistake. Really? So explainto me please how that lioness is seriously injured?
@MrFeatherr Learn to read properly? I know how to read properly....and that lion, with a wound to its leg, would affect the lion's ability to run, or keep up with the pride when they are on the move. Whether the lion is liming or not, its is just a "flesh wound". But your concern seems to be "serious" threat. Whether or not it is, bulls can stand their ground against lions at times. But what is amazing is how that bull was still able to defend itself against 4-5 lions.
Clearly you have not been reading clearly as I have constantly said lions have threats but no major threats besides humans and members of it's own species. A wound like that does not take long to heal you could clearly see the lioness trotting away, and unless they are hunting or fighting lions do not move faster than that. I've already told you buffalo can stand their ground nobody ever said they didn't. It doesn't make them a serious threat now does it? As I've said even porupines injure lions
@MrFeatherr For the 100th time, when a bull is surrounded it wont be easy for the bull to successfully defend itself, yet that bull was still able to skewer a lion from the pride atttacking it.So you are comparing a porcupines capability to a cape bufallo? You are very biased. The bottom line is that the bull was able to hurt the lion. But you keep stating, "it can be thrown 20 feet in the air its not limping its only a flesh wound" you do not like to acknowledge anything at all if its not a lion.
@KroKaDiLe Lions almost never take on rhinos for that very reason, although I did see a video with a pride of very young lions risking their chances. They didn't stand a hope in hell against it, it was a fully sized male adult white rhino, but the young lions had never seen one before so they gave it a go. They eventually gave up but it was still fun to watch.
Animals who live in groups and prides hunt as such, you have refused to explain why you believe lions can't take down buffalo solo when I have given you many videos now which show lions doing just that. You keep saying this lion runs away in the video when you can clearly see him standing in shot at the end. I am quite sure because you do not like the lion you spread lies but you have failed terribly.
@MrFeatherr You keep avoiding my question, again, for the 3rd, 4th time, do you actually believe a lion can kill a fully grown adult rhino? Yes, or No?
@MrFeatherr Your videos have proven absolutely nothing at all,I have already stated earlier, most of the buffalos were aging, or wounded as the narrator said wounded, on the 2nd part. The other videos are easily inconclusive, because they do not show the full encounter, only when the bull is already on the ground, possibly wounded, aging, etc. Speaking of wounded, the other video I linked shows a lion seriously wounded from a buffalo's dangerous horn, at the end of the vid you can see the wound.
No, none of the narrators stated this. Only when the male lion took down the wounded buffalo and the narrator also said there is nothing more dangerous in the wild than a wounded buffalo and the lion took him down. Lol, I watched the whole documentry for that if the wound was serious the lioness wouldn't have been able to walk. Like I said before there is not one video of a buffalo killing a healthy adult lion fact.
@MrFeatherr I already told you, a lone lion usually would not attempt to attack one, when its a whole lion pride, its not easy when you have 4 lions on top of you....I dont understand how a wounded buffalo is more dangerous than a healthy one, it does not make any sense. I didnt say the bull killed the lion........its just amazing how the bull was outnumbered 5-1 and YET still had the strength to injure a lion and lift it in the air with its horn, while there are 5 lions attacking it.
A lone lion would not usually attempt to attack a herd of buffalo without their pride, but I can give you videos of single lions attacking single buffalos as I already have done, and I have already given you videos of a pride of lions attacking herds of buffalo and single lions taking down buffalo within that herd. The lion was in a position it wouldn't have been if it was on it's own. Yeah so what lol? Lions get injured all the time by even porcupines does it mean a porcupine could kill a lion?
@MrFeatherr I never said I dont like the lion, but it is very foolish to believe a lion can kill pretty much anything in the wild without a sweat, with no threats at all, etc. And that is what you very strongly, and foolishly believe. Lions kill many animals in the wild, and the largest prey they usually hunt are buffalos, and it requires a lot of teamwork within the lions vs one.
What is foolish is to believe a buffalo can kill a lion because it is bigger. And what is even more foolish is to keep on stating it takes 3 - 4 lions to take down a buffalo when I have given you many videos showing single lions killing them. Even more foolish is even when experts such as George B Schaller state 'lions have no other natural enemy besides humans and other lions', you keep saying a lion is not the most dominant. It must be pretty hard to keep arguing a long lost point lol
@MrFeatherr Whats funny is how you blindly brush away the fact that the lion (in the vid) was seriuosly hurt when the bull skewered and fling it in the air. The lion walked away from the pride as they ate their prey, due....to....its....injury. That vid shows what a buffalo is capable of when lions attack it. Its funny how you ignore that, and go right into ""the bull didnt kill the lion, end of story""
The lion was not seriously hurt she was still walking lol. The lion wouldn't be in that position if it were attacking the buffalo alone. What does a buffalo injuring a lion prove? Nothing. Lions get injured all the time hunting but killing a lion is another matter entirely why are you trying to change the subject? As I said porcupines injure lions so do zebra and wildebeest is doesn't mean they kill lions don't be foolish.
@MrFeatherr lol ok wow, so the lion wasn't seriously hurt? So I see you are still blindly biased. That lion indeed was seriously hurt, as you saw in the video. And again, you completely ignore how powerful a cape buffalo is capable of, still able to hurt a lion when outnumbered, defending itself. What does a buffalo injuring a lion prove? lol, well obviously, it shows its a very powerful animal and wont be easy to take down. Lions have to be very careful in the encounter
In case you are unaware when something is seriously hurt they are unable to move let alone limp away, it was a flesh wound. Nobody said a buffalo wasn't powerful now did they? I said they are unable to cause a serious threat to a healthy adult lion and this is quite true. No it proves nothing, porcupines have injured lions it doesn't mean they are a serious threat or are able to kill them now does it?
@MrFeatherr I explained to you about 3-4 times already, when a bull is vastly outnumbered by a pride of lions, it wont be easy to defend itself, yet it can still hurt a lion. Even on the video, (I'll link it to you again) /watch?v=yVD7YM0-ejQ The narrator says a buffalo can be deadly to a lion. Its just a flesh wound? Wrong. A bull that gores and skewers an animal means serious injury. Again, you refuse to acknowledge this, but I am not surprised at all of your bias
So basically you are just admitting a completely differnt mindset that it is practically unheard of for a buffalo to kill a healthy adult lion. 'Can be', being the key words, just like a piano fallin off a roof 'can be' deadly to a human/ It doesn't mean the buffalo kills lions because they don't. A lioness that gets up and half jogs away means that she is not seriously injured.
@MrFeatherr You still refuse to admit a lion was injured from the buffalo defending itself? Did you listen to the narrator? I really just can't believe how ignorantly biased you are.
Nobody said the lion wasn't injured, I said she wasn't seriously injured which is quite true as she walked away half jogging. You should of course realise that if the lioness was seriously injured she wouldn't be able to walk. Look past the title.
@MrFeatherr And now you state she was able to walk as an excuse. Just keep those denials coming as always. Funny how you say it wasnt "serious injured". Regardless whether it was seriosuly injured or not, (that is another story), the lion clearly was hurt, by a lone buffalo, outnumbered by a pride of lions. You are clearly in denial.
As an excuse? What is it an excuse for exactly? It proves that she was not seriously injured as if it were a serious injury she would not have been able to walk. Regardless of nothing lol, you are changing the subject to suit your misguided opinions a common tactic. Lions are no stranger to injury they are constantly injured whilst hunting however the original point was that the buffalo is quite clearly not a serious threat to a healthy adult lion.
@MrFeatherr Misguided opinions? No. DId you hear what the narrator said? Look at the video again and listen. It is walking away, but it is still injured.....I bet you believe it can outrun a cheetah as well after it was stabbed by a bull? It can be a threat to a lion leading to serious injury, but no, the lion just walks away as if nothing happened.......sure
Yes she was injured as I have already said lions are no stranger to injury, however it was not a serious injury the lioness was in a place she wouldn't have been if attacking him by herself, the buffalo was still not a serious threat fact. And no, lions are indeed fast but can not outrun a cheetah. Indeed she does trot away hardly even limping.
@MrFeatherr lol and you still deny how a bull can hurt a lion like that? Well, according to you, DEFINITELY not a threat. LoL of course a lion cannot outrun a cheetah, but I would'nt be surprised if you say they can, being the ultra hardcore lion fanboy that you are. So it was just a flesh wound? Ha, ok, and that lion can still run and catch any prey, even when a bull stabs its legs like that.....
Nobody is denying that a buffalo can hurt a lion. Lions are injured quite a lot during hunting. The chances of a buffalo seriously injuring a lion however are really very rare and it is practically unheard of for a buffalo to kill a healthy adult lion. I'm glad you realise a lion can't outrun a cheetah, you have already insulted your intelligence enough... I'm not sure what your definition of a serious injury is, but when a lion trots away hardly even limping, it is not a serious injury.
@MrFeatherr I'm not insulting my intelligence, I'm making fun of your fanboyness. And how many times did I state to you that a buffalo is usually outnumbered, whuch won't make it easy to successfully defend itself. And yes, though it can be rare, buffalos indeed can seriously injure a lion. So if a bull stabs you in the leg and lifts you up in the air with its powerful neck, it is not a serious inury? Oh yea....its just a flesh wound.
Wrong, the buffalo that the lion captures will eventually be outnumbered because lions prey on the vulnerable, however initially it is the lions who are usually outnumbered 4 or 5 lioness's may attack a herd of buffalo up to 200 individuals. Well great, you have finally contradicted your first point, it is indeed extremely rare for a buffalo to seriously injure a lion and practically unheard of for it to kill a healthy adult one.
@MrFeatherr but the fact still remains, a buffalo can STILL injure a lion, and they still pose a threat. Vulnerable? When a buffalo is overwhelmingly surround by a pride of lions, yes, they are vulnerable. The herd usually runs away, and the lions look for the vulnerable and solitary ones in most cases, calves.
@MrFeatherr I already told you many times, a single lion can kill wilderbeasts and zebras, and at times they can injure a lion. But again, as I told you countless times, buffalo are much large and much more powerful beasts. I already posted a link on a dead lion due to injuries from a buffalo. A buffalo when outnumbered cannot defend itself as strongly if it were a single lion.
It is ignorant to think because a buffalo is bigger and stronger than a lion it causes a serious threat. No you didn't lol, you posted up a link showing photoshopped pictures with a title saying the lion suffered fractured ribs. Ridiculous and desperate. You were unable to provide me with video evidence as I asked, in short you have been proven wrong.
@MrFeatherr LOL desperate? You really shouldn't be stating that word, after you never acknowlege the capability of a buffalo, or other powerful beasts. You continue to deny everything no matter what.
Either you are wrong,or you are refering to a different video. This video I linked shows a lion flipped over like a toy by a buffalo, and its live action, on 0:43 /watch?v=Ca2wSWe9zzE&feature=related result? one dead lion .
Oh wow you are actually refering to that video now that is truely desperate did you just read the title or something? The narrator in that video clearly states, 'the JUVENILE lion tried to escape up a tree where it was clear how WEAK, and UNDERNOUISHED it was'. Is that seriously all you can find me? The fact that you gave me that video is laughable.
@MrFeatherr It is laughable even on your video link, most of the encounters do not show the full fight. It is laughable how much of a fanboy you are. Being realistic? When you refuse to admit a lion has no chance against an adult rhino, when you refuse to admit an elephant is a threat to a lion, when you refuse to admit a buffalo can seriously injure a lion, when you dismiss and underestimate size and power, its called being a lion fanboy.
It is quite ignorant to say because something is bigger and stronger it poses a serious threat. Of course I refuse to admit it because it simply isn't true lol, and elephants and rhinos must feel the exact same way as they more oftenthan not choose to move away rather than fight. It's not underestimating size and power it's called realising it won't help much compared to the lions speed, agility agression, and weaponry.
@MrFeatherr LOL wow, lion fanboy strikes again. You indeed are underestimating power and size, and again you are denying it. It bothers you that a lion does not pose a threat to a rhino or elephant, so your excuse is a rhino and elephant's power and size wont help much vs a lions speed, agility, etc? Are you kidding me? Those physical traits will not help a lion kill a rhino or elephant, because in that situation, power and size towers over them greatly.
Nobody is underestimating power and size, it is realistic to realise power and size is useless next to a lions speed, agility, greater weaponry and agression for much more besides intimidation and escaping when under attack. Lol, clearly the elephant thinks quite differently as does the rhino as it is the elephants and rhinos retreating more often than the lions: /watch?v=5y3bT8qfJEU
@MrFeatherr Power and size useless to a lion? lol? Again, lion fanboyism at its absolute finest. When dealing with huge animals, like an elephant, many many times the size of a lion, its speed, agility, etc. is greatly overwhelmed by the size and power of an elephant. Elephants Immense Power and size > over a lion's physical traits many times over. And that desperate video you linked is actually funny, because there is absolutely nothing that lioness can do to that elephant.
Well that's simply ignorant to think strength will overcome speed, agility, skill, weaponry, agression, and hunting experience. It was a video to show you how elephants view lions as threats, you see THAT was running away, not moving out of the way and standing still as can be seen in this video in which you originally tried to tell me was running away. When faced with lions elephants back away most of the time, like I say besides humans lions have been the dominant wherever they've lived.
@MrFeatherr wow seriously? lol ok, again......Compare the STRENGTH and SIZE of an elephant, and the agility, speed, etc of a lion. In this case, enormous strength and size towers over a lion's physical traits greatly. Again and again, you are underestimating even (lol) the size and power of an elephant, this is very foolish. But if you are biased, this is completely understandable
It doesnt and never has. Can you even find me just one documented instance of an elephant harming a healthy adult lion? I didn't think so either... This is because it does not happen. Nobody has underestimated the elephant, merely pitted the statistics against the other.
You speak of bias, but you seem to be bias against the lion. So much in fact that you gave me a video of a malnourished adulescant lion being killed by a herd of buffalo and were willing to use that as evidence now that is bias.
@MrFeatherr Lions AVOID elephants.....and a lion killing an elephant does NOT happen. Yes you are undersetimating the elephant, even an animal of that size, you still state that agility and speed overcomes it.
I am not biased of the lion, I have given credit when its due, but my statements are against your ridiculous claims on how a lion is a threat to a rhino or elephant, which is pathetic
Lions do not avoid elephants, in certain parts of Africa such as Sauviti, some prides specialise in hunting elephants. Quite clearly an elephants power does not overcome a lions abilities, as it has never been seen for an elephant to injure a healthy adult. Explain please how it is ridiculous when in some parts of Africa it is practice for prides to hunt and attack herds of elephants?
@MrFeatherr LOL!!! I just keep laughing at your fanatical stubborness. Lion prides do kill elephants, but very very rarely, and its takes a large lion pride to kill just one, but very rarely. An elephants power does not overcome a lions abilities? Only a fanboy like you would state that. A whole large pride of lions attempted to kill an elephant, vastly outnumbered and on the ground the elphant was STILL able to overcome the lions. Do you want the link?
Yes lions prey on the vulnerable just like any other predator, however as I have already proven to you with various videos it is quite common for lions to take down healthy adults of any species.

KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Errors? Nope....the erros come from you, in fact. A lion can kill a rhino and elepahnt? in many ways? A lone lion killing a cape buffalo is very common? Elepahnts do not chase lions? the lion was not seriusly injured from a bull's horns? I can go on forever, you are the one with errors with strong denial in your heart.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Wrong wrong and wrong. You cannot prove how their are many "ways" a lion can kill an elephant. You cannot prove how a lion can kill a rhino, and so on. Congratulations, you have proven yourself to be the number one lion fanboy on youtube ""You may reply if you want but I'm afraid I won't be reading them it will be deleted as soon as I see your name"" It bothers you to admit a lions inabilities vs some some animals doesnt it? You are a complete lionfanboy fanatic.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago

The pride has even taken down bulls'.

@gingy717 I already said they take down the females but nowhere in it does it mention the pride taking down full grown bull males.

I know you will not change your mind and I will not change mine.
gingy717 1 year ago
@gingy717 because elephants are far stronger then giraffes, and as much as you claim "I believe Lions could kill a fully grown Elephant" belief doesn't make it true, people believe that a magical omnipotent sky daddy is watching their every move and if they be bad they will burn for all eternity, that doesn't make it true.

You are a retard. Lions and Elephants have co-existed for literally thousands of years and im sure at least ONE pride has taken a fully grown bull.

MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr a lion fares a better chance of killing a rhino? Lion fanboyism at its finest!Seriously wrong.Rhinos have very thick, armored like skin, they have immense power, they are the 2nd largest mammals on land. Absolutely no way a lion can bring down an adult rhino, it is simply too large and powerful to take down, also a rhino's deadly horns. They have poor eyesight, but a great sense of smell. When you say a lion can kill a rhino, you prove to be a biased, close minded hardcore lion fanboy
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
It is not being a 'fanboy', it is being realistic, all you have said is because a rhino is big and strong it can easily kill a lion. More likely even though you have been proven wrong many times you have resigned yourself to the misguided notion that lions are weak and overrated and stubbournly refuse to change your mind no matter how much evidence is thrown at you. Instead giving me situations of where malnourished lions died because you have no real evidence to support your claims.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Wrong. Its obvious a lion is a very successful hunter. My point is that a lion is still vulnerable to threats in the wild. lol and the best part, you say stubbornly? Look at yourself before you say that word. You state a lion was not inujured from the buffalo's wound, you state a buffalo is "big and strong thats all" underestimating the buffalo, you state a lion (lol) can kill a rhino , you state a lion is a threat to an elephant etc. You really are desparate
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
A lion is vulnerable to threats noone ever said they weren't, lean to read please. I'll quote George B Schaller again when I said a lion has no other natural enemy that poses a serious threat in the wild other than humans and other lions. Again, learn to read, I stated the lion was not seriously injured like you keep claiming obviously she was injured however if it were serious she wouldn't have been able to walk. It's not underestimating it's pitting the lions advantages which are quite clear
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr lol again. You say the lion was not "seriously injured". A desperate excuse to hide the fact that the lion was indeed injured. (seriously or not, thats a different story). Oh wait, you state it was just a flesh wound......lions can walk on water too right?
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
No it's not a different story, as I have clearly stated many times before now, lions get injured all the time hunting. Even porcupines have injured lions. You are veering away from the original point of being a serious injury or a serious threat to just an 'injury'. So yes whilst the buffalo did indeed injure the lioness it was clearly not a serious injury as she trotted away hardly even limping.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Threat does not only mean killing, if that is what you mean, an injury inflicted by another animals/person can also mean a threat, and a buffalo capable on seriously injuring a lion is a threat. And you blindly believe the lion was not seriously injured in the video? Now you tell me, would the lion be able to run after a wound like that? Would it be able to keep up with the pride? If its just trotting away, hardly limping, you are just biased as the hardcore lion fanboy that you are
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
No it does not, however the original debate was about killing a lion then turned into serious injury. As I have already said a buffalo is quite capable of seriously injuring a lion however the chances of it happening are extremely low, indeed it is practically unheard of for a buffalo to kill a healthy adult lion. It's not a blind belief as you can clearly see the lioness walking away hardly limping. What do you mean keep up with the pride? the pride aren't exactly going to run away from her lol
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr I told you about 5 times already, a bull when outnumbered by a pride of lions wont be easy to defend itself, though they can at times. A martial artist cannot successfully defend itself when surrounded and outnumbered. Same goes for a bull when it is outnumbered by a pride of lion, though, that bull was still able to injure a lion. No, the debate was on your obsessive belief that no animal poses a threat to a lion.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
It won't be easy for a single buffalo to defend themselves against a lion regardless of a pride or not. That's a simple fact. The lioness was in a position she wouldn't have been when attacking alone, and even still it was not a serious injury. Not only that you keep going on about numbers, an average hunting team of lioness's is around 4 or 5 individuals, sometimes the males help and they attack buffalo herds numbering up to 200 individuals. Actually I keep repeating serious threat read please.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Of course it won't be easy for bufallos to defend themselves, and it won't be easy for lions to take down a cape buffalo.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Well that's a little silly, the seriousness of the injury can not be determined by the violence of the attack, it wouldn't matter if the buffalo picked her up and threw her 20 feet away, if the lioness simply got up and shook herself off, then trotted away hardly even limping it would mean she is not seriously injured. Such is the case in this incident, she wasn't even bleeding heavily.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr LOL even 20 feet away? Ok since you are going that far into denial, the lion was, keyword, INJURED.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
So, what's your point? A porcupine can injure a lion making it a threat but not a serious threat. A heavy tree branch falling onto a lion can cause injury making it a threat but not a serious threat. I'll repeat as quoted by George B Schaller, lions have no major threats or enemies besides humans and members of it's own species. Yes, even if the lioness was thrown 20 feet away, if she simply got up and trotted away hardly even limping, it is not a serious injury.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr No. You state a porcupine can also injure a lion. Indeed they can but can a porcupine skewer a lion with its horns like a much larger and powerful animal as the buffalo? Even while outnumbered by 4-5 lions? Lame excuse. Of course you understand that a buffalo is more capable of injuring a lion than a porcupine?
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
You stated to me that 'injured', was the keyword thus by that logic a porcupine is more of a threat to a lion than a buffalo as lions are injured far mre often when they come into contact with a porcupine. As such you have contradicted yourself once more, the key word is not injured but rather the key question is was how often could this animal seriously injure a lion? It is exceedingly rare for any animal other than humans and members of it's own species to seriously injure a healthy adult.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr No, it is just another pathetic, lame excuse of yours, as usual. How many times have I stated to you about buffalos being vastly outnumbered? It won't be easy for the bull to successfully defend itself, yet that one bull was still able to at least injure a lion. Can a porcupine do that? Yes, they can injure lions, but not as seriously as a buffalo.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Lol, and how many times have I told you that 4 to 5 lioness's attack a herd of 200 buffalo so you can't really use that desperate 'outnumbered' excuse when the lions tackle 100's of buffalo and kill one. Thankyou very much lol, you've just agreed with me again in a different mindset, the keyword was in fact 'seriously', as you just stated, and then you should know how rare it is for a buffalo to seriously injure a lion thus making it far less of a threat.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr lol, does the whole herd of 200 buffalo attack the lion pride? No Try again
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Does the whole herd of buffalo attack the lions? Why yes they do, it is common practice for a couple of lions to corner and kill one buffalo and for the rest to see the buffalo herd off. such as with the case of those 3 male lions against 200 buffalo. So I'd suggest you try again.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr So you are saying a whole entire herd of 200 buffalos charges and attack the lions? No they do not. A number of buffalos defend their ground, but if the entire herd were to surround and attack the lions, they would obviously be outnumbered, with a big disadvantage
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Well then, whether its a rarity or not, as you have stated, a buffalo capable of seriously injuring a lion is a threat. As in keeping up with the pride, If the lion pride is attacking another bull, will that lion that was skewered by the bull on it's legs be able to keep up with the other lions that are running towards its prey? Blind belief? No, its blind when you state the lion was not seriously injured, it is just a "flesh wound"
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
We are talking about major threats here, as in seriously injuring a lion or killing them. I have never once said lions have no threats in the wild, I have constantly echoed George B Schaller in that no other animals besides humans an other lions pose a serious threat to a healthy adult lion. Perhaps if you learned to read properly you wouldn't have made that mistake. Really? So explainto me please how that lioness is seriously injured?
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Learn to read properly? I know how to read properly....and that lion, with a wound to its leg, would affect the lion's ability to run, or keep up with the pride when they are on the move. Whether the lion is liming or not, its is just a "flesh wound". But your concern seems to be "serious" threat. Whether or not it is, bulls can stand their ground against lions at times. But what is amazing is how that bull was still able to defend itself against 4-5 lions.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Clearly you have not been reading clearly as I have constantly said lions have threats but no major threats besides humans and members of it's own species. A wound like that does not take long to heal you could clearly see the lioness trotting away, and unless they are hunting or fighting lions do not move faster than that. I've already told you buffalo can stand their ground nobody ever said they didn't. It doesn't make them a serious threat now does it? As I've said even porupines injure lions
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr For the 100th time, when a bull is surrounded it wont be easy for the bull to successfully defend itself, yet that bull was still able to skewer a lion from the pride atttacking it.So you are comparing a porcupines capability to a cape bufallo? You are very biased. The bottom line is that the bull was able to hurt the lion. But you keep stating, "it can be thrown 20 feet in the air its not limping its only a flesh wound" you do not like to acknowledge anything at all if its not a lion.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@KroKaDiLe Lions almost never take on rhinos for that very reason, although I did see a video with a pride of very young lions risking their chances. They didn't stand a hope in hell against it, it was a fully sized male adult white rhino, but the young lions had never seen one before so they gave it a go. They eventually gave up but it was still fun to watch.
vikeyev1 1 year ago
Animals who live in groups and prides hunt as such, you have refused to explain why you believe lions can't take down buffalo solo when I have given you many videos now which show lions doing just that. You keep saying this lion runs away in the video when you can clearly see him standing in shot at the end. I am quite sure because you do not like the lion you spread lies but you have failed terribly.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr You keep avoiding my question, again, for the 3rd, 4th time, do you actually believe a lion can kill a fully grown adult rhino? Yes, or No?
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Your videos have proven absolutely nothing at all,I have already stated earlier, most of the buffalos were aging, or wounded as the narrator said wounded, on the 2nd part. The other videos are easily inconclusive, because they do not show the full encounter, only when the bull is already on the ground, possibly wounded, aging, etc. Speaking of wounded, the other video I linked shows a lion seriously wounded from a buffalo's dangerous horn, at the end of the vid you can see the wound.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
No, none of the narrators stated this. Only when the male lion took down the wounded buffalo and the narrator also said there is nothing more dangerous in the wild than a wounded buffalo and the lion took him down. Lol, I watched the whole documentry for that if the wound was serious the lioness wouldn't have been able to walk. Like I said before there is not one video of a buffalo killing a healthy adult lion fact.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr I already told you, a lone lion usually would not attempt to attack one, when its a whole lion pride, its not easy when you have 4 lions on top of you....I dont understand how a wounded buffalo is more dangerous than a healthy one, it does not make any sense. I didnt say the bull killed the lion........its just amazing how the bull was outnumbered 5-1 and YET still had the strength to injure a lion and lift it in the air with its horn, while there are 5 lions attacking it.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
A lone lion would not usually attempt to attack a herd of buffalo without their pride, but I can give you videos of single lions attacking single buffalos as I already have done, and I have already given you videos of a pride of lions attacking herds of buffalo and single lions taking down buffalo within that herd. The lion was in a position it wouldn't have been if it was on it's own. Yeah so what lol? Lions get injured all the time by even porcupines does it mean a porcupine could kill a lion?
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Read my post again on your videos
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr I never said I dont like the lion, but it is very foolish to believe a lion can kill pretty much anything in the wild without a sweat, with no threats at all, etc. And that is what you very strongly, and foolishly believe. Lions kill many animals in the wild, and the largest prey they usually hunt are buffalos, and it requires a lot of teamwork within the lions vs one.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
What is foolish is to believe a buffalo can kill a lion because it is bigger. And what is even more foolish is to keep on stating it takes 3 - 4 lions to take down a buffalo when I have given you many videos showing single lions killing them. Even more foolish is even when experts such as George B Schaller state 'lions have no other natural enemy besides humans and other lions', you keep saying a lion is not the most dominant. It must be pretty hard to keep arguing a long lost point lol
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Whats funny is how you blindly brush away the fact that the lion (in the vid) was seriuosly hurt when the bull skewered and fling it in the air. The lion walked away from the pride as they ate their prey, due....to....its....injury. That vid shows what a buffalo is capable of when lions attack it. Its funny how you ignore that, and go right into ""the bull didnt kill the lion, end of story""
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
The lion was not seriously hurt she was still walking lol. The lion wouldn't be in that position if it were attacking the buffalo alone. What does a buffalo injuring a lion prove? Nothing. Lions get injured all the time hunting but killing a lion is another matter entirely why are you trying to change the subject? As I said porcupines injure lions so do zebra and wildebeest is doesn't mean they kill lions don't be foolish.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr lol ok wow, so the lion wasn't seriously hurt? So I see you are still blindly biased. That lion indeed was seriously hurt, as you saw in the video. And again, you completely ignore how powerful a cape buffalo is capable of, still able to hurt a lion when outnumbered, defending itself. What does a buffalo injuring a lion prove? lol, well obviously, it shows its a very powerful animal and wont be easy to take down. Lions have to be very careful in the encounter
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
In case you are unaware when something is seriously hurt they are unable to move let alone limp away, it was a flesh wound. Nobody said a buffalo wasn't powerful now did they? I said they are unable to cause a serious threat to a healthy adult lion and this is quite true. No it proves nothing, porcupines have injured lions it doesn't mean they are a serious threat or are able to kill them now does it?
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr I explained to you about 3-4 times already, when a bull is vastly outnumbered by a pride of lions, it wont be easy to defend itself, yet it can still hurt a lion. Even on the video, (I'll link it to you again) /watch?v=yVD7YM0-ejQ The narrator says a buffalo can be deadly to a lion. Its just a flesh wound? Wrong. A bull that gores and skewers an animal means serious injury. Again, you refuse to acknowledge this, but I am not surprised at all of your bias
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
So basically you are just admitting a completely differnt mindset that it is practically unheard of for a buffalo to kill a healthy adult lion. 'Can be', being the key words, just like a piano fallin off a roof 'can be' deadly to a human/ It doesn't mean the buffalo kills lions because they don't. A lioness that gets up and half jogs away means that she is not seriously injured.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr You still refuse to admit a lion was injured from the buffalo defending itself? Did you listen to the narrator? I really just can't believe how ignorantly biased you are.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Nobody said the lion wasn't injured, I said she wasn't seriously injured which is quite true as she walked away half jogging. You should of course realise that if the lioness was seriously injured she wouldn't be able to walk. Look past the title.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr And now you state she was able to walk as an excuse. Just keep those denials coming as always. Funny how you say it wasnt "serious injured". Regardless whether it was seriosuly injured or not, (that is another story), the lion clearly was hurt, by a lone buffalo, outnumbered by a pride of lions. You are clearly in denial.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
As an excuse? What is it an excuse for exactly? It proves that she was not seriously injured as if it were a serious injury she would not have been able to walk. Regardless of nothing lol, you are changing the subject to suit your misguided opinions a common tactic. Lions are no stranger to injury they are constantly injured whilst hunting however the original point was that the buffalo is quite clearly not a serious threat to a healthy adult lion.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Misguided opinions? No. DId you hear what the narrator said? Look at the video again and listen. It is walking away, but it is still injured.....I bet you believe it can outrun a cheetah as well after it was stabbed by a bull? It can be a threat to a lion leading to serious injury, but no, the lion just walks away as if nothing happened.......sure
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Yes she was injured as I have already said lions are no stranger to injury, however it was not a serious injury the lioness was in a place she wouldn't have been if attacking him by herself, the buffalo was still not a serious threat fact. And no, lions are indeed fast but can not outrun a cheetah. Indeed she does trot away hardly even limping.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr lol and you still deny how a bull can hurt a lion like that? Well, according to you, DEFINITELY not a threat. LoL of course a lion cannot outrun a cheetah, but I would'nt be surprised if you say they can, being the ultra hardcore lion fanboy that you are. So it was just a flesh wound? Ha, ok, and that lion can still run and catch any prey, even when a bull stabs its legs like that.....
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Nobody is denying that a buffalo can hurt a lion. Lions are injured quite a lot during hunting. The chances of a buffalo seriously injuring a lion however are really very rare and it is practically unheard of for a buffalo to kill a healthy adult lion. I'm glad you realise a lion can't outrun a cheetah, you have already insulted your intelligence enough... I'm not sure what your definition of a serious injury is, but when a lion trots away hardly even limping, it is not a serious injury.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr I'm not insulting my intelligence, I'm making fun of your fanboyness. And how many times did I state to you that a buffalo is usually outnumbered, whuch won't make it easy to successfully defend itself. And yes, though it can be rare, buffalos indeed can seriously injure a lion. So if a bull stabs you in the leg and lifts you up in the air with its powerful neck, it is not a serious inury? Oh yea....its just a flesh wound.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Wrong, the buffalo that the lion captures will eventually be outnumbered because lions prey on the vulnerable, however initially it is the lions who are usually outnumbered 4 or 5 lioness's may attack a herd of buffalo up to 200 individuals. Well great, you have finally contradicted your first point, it is indeed extremely rare for a buffalo to seriously injure a lion and practically unheard of for it to kill a healthy adult one.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr but the fact still remains, a buffalo can STILL injure a lion, and they still pose a threat. Vulnerable? When a buffalo is overwhelmingly surround by a pride of lions, yes, they are vulnerable. The herd usually runs away, and the lions look for the vulnerable and solitary ones in most cases, calves.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr I already told you many times, a single lion can kill wilderbeasts and zebras, and at times they can injure a lion. But again, as I told you countless times, buffalo are much large and much more powerful beasts. I already posted a link on a dead lion due to injuries from a buffalo. A buffalo when outnumbered cannot defend itself as strongly if it were a single lion.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
It is ignorant to think because a buffalo is bigger and stronger than a lion it causes a serious threat. No you didn't lol, you posted up a link showing photoshopped pictures with a title saying the lion suffered fractured ribs. Ridiculous and desperate. You were unable to provide me with video evidence as I asked, in short you have been proven wrong.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr LOL desperate? You really shouldn't be stating that word, after you never acknowlege the capability of a buffalo, or other powerful beasts. You continue to deny everything no matter what.
Either you are wrong,or you are refering to a different video. This video I linked shows a lion flipped over like a toy by a buffalo, and its live action, on 0:43 /watch?v=Ca2wSWe9zzE&feature=related result? one dead lion .
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Oh wow you are actually refering to that video now that is truely desperate did you just read the title or something? The narrator in that video clearly states, 'the JUVENILE lion tried to escape up a tree where it was clear how WEAK, and UNDERNOUISHED it was'. Is that seriously all you can find me? The fact that you gave me that video is laughable.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr It is laughable even on your video link, most of the encounters do not show the full fight. It is laughable how much of a fanboy you are. Being realistic? When you refuse to admit a lion has no chance against an adult rhino, when you refuse to admit an elephant is a threat to a lion, when you refuse to admit a buffalo can seriously injure a lion, when you dismiss and underestimate size and power, its called being a lion fanboy.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
It is quite ignorant to say because something is bigger and stronger it poses a serious threat. Of course I refuse to admit it because it simply isn't true lol, and elephants and rhinos must feel the exact same way as they more oftenthan not choose to move away rather than fight. It's not underestimating size and power it's called realising it won't help much compared to the lions speed, agility agression, and weaponry.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr LOL wow, lion fanboy strikes again. You indeed are underestimating power and size, and again you are denying it. It bothers you that a lion does not pose a threat to a rhino or elephant, so your excuse is a rhino and elephant's power and size wont help much vs a lions speed, agility, etc? Are you kidding me? Those physical traits will not help a lion kill a rhino or elephant, because in that situation, power and size towers over them greatly.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Nobody is underestimating power and size, it is realistic to realise power and size is useless next to a lions speed, agility, greater weaponry and agression for much more besides intimidation and escaping when under attack. Lol, clearly the elephant thinks quite differently as does the rhino as it is the elephants and rhinos retreating more often than the lions: /watch?v=5y3bT8qfJEU
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Power and size useless to a lion? lol? Again, lion fanboyism at its absolute finest. When dealing with huge animals, like an elephant, many many times the size of a lion, its speed, agility, etc. is greatly overwhelmed by the size and power of an elephant. Elephants Immense Power and size > over a lion's physical traits many times over. And that desperate video you linked is actually funny, because there is absolutely nothing that lioness can do to that elephant.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Well that's simply ignorant to think strength will overcome speed, agility, skill, weaponry, agression, and hunting experience. It was a video to show you how elephants view lions as threats, you see THAT was running away, not moving out of the way and standing still as can be seen in this video in which you originally tried to tell me was running away. When faced with lions elephants back away most of the time, like I say besides humans lions have been the dominant wherever they've lived.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr wow seriously? lol ok, again......Compare the STRENGTH and SIZE of an elephant, and the agility, speed, etc of a lion. In this case, enormous strength and size towers over a lion's physical traits greatly. Again and again, you are underestimating even (lol) the size and power of an elephant, this is very foolish. But if you are biased, this is completely understandable
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
It doesnt and never has. Can you even find me just one documented instance of an elephant harming a healthy adult lion? I didn't think so either... This is because it does not happen. Nobody has underestimated the elephant, merely pitted the statistics against the other.
You speak of bias, but you seem to be bias against the lion. So much in fact that you gave me a video of a malnourished adulescant lion being killed by a herd of buffalo and were willing to use that as evidence now that is bias.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Lions AVOID elephants.....and a lion killing an elephant does NOT happen. Yes you are undersetimating the elephant, even an animal of that size, you still state that agility and speed overcomes it.
I am not biased of the lion, I have given credit when its due, but my statements are against your ridiculous claims on how a lion is a threat to a rhino or elephant, which is pathetic
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Lions do not avoid elephants, in certain parts of Africa such as Sauviti, some prides specialise in hunting elephants. Quite clearly an elephants power does not overcome a lions abilities, as it has never been seen for an elephant to injure a healthy adult. Explain please how it is ridiculous when in some parts of Africa it is practice for prides to hunt and attack herds of elephants?
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr LOL!!! I just keep laughing at your fanatical stubborness. Lion prides do kill elephants, but very very rarely, and its takes a large lion pride to kill just one, but very rarely. An elephants power does not overcome a lions abilities? Only a fanboy like you would state that. A whole large pride of lions attempted to kill an elephant, vastly outnumbered and on the ground the elphant was STILL able to overcome the lions. Do you want the link?
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
@MrFeatherr Lions always attack the young. And when the opportunity arises, they go for the kill. No, quite clearly you are a lion fanboy.
KroKaDiLe 1 year ago
Yes lions prey on the vulnerable just like any other predator, however as I have already proven to you with various videos it is quite common for lions to take down healthy adults of any species.
MrFeatherr 1 year ago
