1: In low ELO, you gotta kill steal to carry newbs.
2: Anivia needs more gold than Rammus as a damage dealer. I have lost thousands of times when Rammus is legendary and he just stacks Armor when they got 11-2 Kassadin and nicely fed Fiddlesticks... (Real story bro)
3: When you are playing Anivia you gotta know how MacLaren should do it.
you lose 3-4 in a row... it happens.. suddenly you find yourself around 1200 and start getting leavers and feeders in your games and drop like a stone.... no matter what you do - with some champs you can't rise again.
Support and tank champs are especially useless if your team can't play well to back you up...
you need a champ that can feed well and own the whole enemy team if you can out skill one or two enemy players repeatedly.
also be hard to gank as you can't expect competent back up.

@JackHtheassasin When you played a ranked game, you can see your stats afterwards, in there is showed a number, that xxx(x) number is your elo. the best is around 2450, and you start out at 1000 elo points.
if you ask me i'd say that low elo is all under 1800, mid elo is 1800 - 2000 and high elo is 2000+.

Finally, some good advice on how to get out of the hellhole. I've looked forever on forums and nothing, but this... Despite the defeat, it actually helped a lot more than some a-hole explaining things.
I was 1230 ELO or something, then I went to some normal games with corki, like 30 games. I mastered him in like 1 month, went to ranked again and im carrying myself out of elo hell, now im 1400+ elo. This is truly the only was u can get out of elo hell, learn to play a strong carry, i suggest a ad one, or something like that. ALWAYS take mid lane or solo top lane, be sure to call mias, ward the map, ward dragon and baron and remember to kill dragon whenever its possible, and farm up alot.
What makes getting from low elo to high elo hard that I always get a team full of mentaly disabled tards worse than bots. Can't do a shit in a team like that.
Try playing against 5 human players (those who actually have brain and use it) with 4 botsin your team.. you know what I mean.

Some pretty amazing advice in here for pretty much ALL Elos. I play at 1600 on both my accounts, and even though I KNOW all of this stuff, sometimes I just forget to implement it in the heat of things. Slowly implementing these into your gameplay to the point where they're natural is an integral part of becoming a better player, and by proxy, raising your Elo.
annivia isnt a carry, but shes great for early to mid game dominance. you arent using smart cast?? how silly. also yer wall got janah killed and yer missing the aoe snare before the big icicle to keep em in range. hence yer not landing icicle finish hit often.
@Duukar While I agree with most of that stuff, Anivia doesn't actually have an aoe snare unless the enemy team is lined up perfectly along her ice wall (they used to be able to get stuck inside, not sure if they still can). Her aoe slow is not like Karthus', it doesn't make it seem like they're an old man with a walking stick (no, not Swain, he's not old). If you really want to play a carry and pub stomp at low ELOs play: Ashe, Yi, Sivir or with more money Tryndamere, Panth, Teemo, Olaf, Xin, MF
@Khalony yeah the snare isnt large %, but half the time he missed the icicle it was by a split inch.. which means the snare would have made it land in all probability. btw - try annivia in ranked 3v3 play with 2 tanky toons with decent CC.. the wall on TT makes 3v3 usually a 3v1 or 3v2.. its amazing!

@cenzala22 look who anivia is up against, olaf, xin zhao, ww which all have super fast attack speed and attack damage and they can all close the distance really well. building an archangels instead is just raping yourself in the ass, its called golem buff and killing ppl on the other team that has golem buff
