  • if i sewed my natural hair to that cap id have to cut myself out of it XDD

  • I love it !

  • looks great

  • Hey I was considering making a wig myself just like yours, but I have a few questions. When you sew the weave, doesn't the needle get stuck to your real hair, like does it not get caught? Also, I have front bangs so how would I do this? And does the wig come off easily? And can I just get someone else to do it for me at like a beauty salon? I know so many questions, but I really need your help. Answer back as soon as you can! Thankyou :)

  • soo wat did u doo with the string lol .Did u also add more hair to the front ny glue it?

  • wow omg i love you hahahaha im def going to try this!

  • think im going to try this with my VHF after i practice with some bss store hair i have left over great vid i subscribed - !

  • I meant that last comment for @emross8905

  • @emrose8905 if you watches her Kim k style tut she did give credit from getting the idea. Doesn't mean she gotta post it on every video, its hair we all use the same methods just with our own flavor...

  • @PrettyGrlConfessions Thank you soo much.. like no idea is new.. Just because you saw it first somewhere, doesn't mean they invented it!

  • Awesome

  • badass. :]

  • Girl i love it ..

  • Great Video ; I never thought about using a string to support at the front . Did it stay secure throughout the day even the you replaced the elastic band with the string in the front ?

  • @BeautyByFinesse The combination of the elastic and the string make it very secure

  • GREAT TUT! sorry if u already answered this..but do u leave the string across the front on there?

  • @uniquepjackson404 You can, or you can sew it on a braid

  • you did an excellent job i really liked the way it came out, how long did it take you to do?

  • @neen305 2 hours!

  • does the cap make you hot/sweat during the day?

  • I like it good job looks really nice

  • you did very well i admire uur skills am gonna try dis wat sewin tec did u use

  • You rocked it girlie!!! Thanks for the tip...

  • i cannot wait to try this but what kinda cap i use?

  • I would cut thtat string and sew in combs

  • does the string always have too show ??

  • YOU ARE A GENIUS !!!

  • Looks great..

  • You are fabulous! I just finished making my wig based on your video and it is fierccccce! Love love love u! Thanks for doing what u do.

  • What kind of cap is this

  • the first time i did this i kinda sowed the tracks in a way that the cap actually shrunk lol.... but i just sowed some extension combs around the edges of the cap to help it stay in place.... im actually glad i did this because it was tight on mii head.... no lumps or bumps from my natural hair....... very helpful... thanks

  • You are amazing, this is an awesome alternative to a partial sew in. Looks easy to maintain.

  • Im really impressed by this..

  • I think she used the mens wave cap because my mother made me one and the cap she got looks exactly like the one she uses in the video. so Mens Wave Cap it is !!

  • When you buy a cap, may i suggest that when you do buy a color that is close to your skin color.

  • Love your videos!!! U are incredible!!! :)

  • what to do about that wire....

  • Love it!!!!

  • you can try using a shower cap or plastic bag over ur natural hair before putting down the spandex cap. that way you don't get glue on ur natural hair when the glue seeps thru the cap & you don't have to peel the wig off.

  • wwhat kind of thread did u use trying to us this method thanks

  • Hello young lady. You are quite talented. I wonder would it be possible to pay you to make a wig for me like you've done in this video. I suffer from extremely broken edges so this technique would still give me access to be able to treat my hair underneath. I have already purcahsed some hair could you please contact me with the cost you would charge do create a look like this for me?

Thanks for your time. Please contact me at swtnside@hotmail.com

  • @swtnside XXTheIslandBeautyXX was the one who originally introduced these kind of technique, but she took down the video. If u are interested she now makes these kind of wigs for people. U should check out her channel she has a video that explains everything and the price, also there are some reviews on youtube regarding the wigs she made for other people ... Just thought u might like to know :)

  • @EcstasyAngel03 Thx so much for the information. You really are a life saver. I'm an older person that is not very internet savy so thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. By the way if it's not too much trouble could you tell me if these wigs would work for a person with very little hair along the edges?

    Thanks again for your time.

  • @swtnside I dont think it will be a problem. You could go to XXTheIslandBeautyXX's channel on the video titled "Halley's Curls 18" Hair 3packs Quick weave Installation pt 1" she talks about this kind of wig, also she has some information in the drop box below regarding how to contact her, so you could ask her your questions and concerns.

    Glad i could help :)

  • Its pointless to keep asking the same question over && over. She answered way before!

  • I really love love this idea - I do my own hair too - I'm going to try that string in front thing to get my invisible part and people u can use any cap - I use even the male caps to make my wigs

  • what happens if you cut the string??

  • Wow that was amazing...

  • in the kim k video it says she used a spandex cap...quit tripping : )

  • The spandex cap getsloose after a while though.. and the thread will break on occassion. I was shopping with my boyfriend and trying on clothes and in macy the string pop in the dressing room. We had to leave ASAP before the wig flew off.

  • @GoodNightLois thats really funny...lol...but maybe u could like put it in the dryer if it gets loose...to shrink the wig cap back to normal size...just an idea...and only if its human hair cuz u know synthetic will burn up.

  • @vupadown Over 300 degrees on remy is not the move sweetheart.

  • @GoodNightLois remy hair and natura hair can go up to 400 degrees. i didnt know how hot a dryer can go so...lol

  • how do u guys get the hair sent to u to review? Is it based on views, subscribers, numb of videos? What?

  • XXTheIslandBeautyXX is where she got this idea from! But XXTheIslandBeautyXX removed her vids b/c now she's selling her systems! Give credit where credit is due! XXTheIslandbeautyXX is the first person that I've ever seen do this!

  • @emross8905 doesn't xxtheislandbeautyxx sew the hair to the caps then sews the whole unit to her head/braids ?? ... that's what i know her for doing. these two methods aren't the same.

  • it looks like a simple swim/doobie cap- why is everyone's panties getting in a bunch??

  • I really wanna try this but I don't know what cap she used!! Help plz :)

  • @MilayLuv its a spandex wig cap at your local beauty supply

  • I love it. your are a true diva this wig cap is very convenient

  • gurl your amazing us right now

  • This was very helpful!!

  • Great idea! I did not think of doing it this way. What is the name of the cap you used? And 1 more question is it easy to get the string thourgh the cap?

  • Innovative for sure! I'd def use my foam wig head and stick a few pins through the cap on the foam head to hold the edged from moving since I have longer hair but this is awesome! thanks for sharing

  • does it hurt when pulling the cap off of your hair? even if your hair is longer?

  • its actually a men's wave cap its called dome cap . it can be found at sallys beauty suppy stores (:

  • @BLoOPERZByNONDi THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THAT INFO

  • it's just a spandex cap. idk why everyone is acting like this is some mystical cap that can't be googled or found in bs stores. lol get off her back, and i think she already said it in the part 1 of this video.

  • this is good idea! but your hair is too cute in that short cut!

  • good idea but how long long does this last before the string pops?

  • Hey. would it be difficult to remove the wig if you have long hair? is there a way long hair females should have there hair underneath before sewing in the hair onto the cap?

  • @Addicted2GlamXO PUT A SHOWER CAP ON UNER THE CAP WHEN UR MAKING IT. TRY THAT

  • has anyone wit longer hair tried this.seems like it would get stuck

  • so does the wig every move while on ur head.. is the string secure enough where the wig wont slide...

  • I love this tutorial, the string is great, my other wigs were just a little too heavy, now I have a solution thx

  • Love the idea

  • hey guys, i believe she is using a spandex dome cap you can get them from sallys or your local beauty supply store i got one and it works great..

  • Genius!!! Amazed.

  • GENIUS!!!!

  • Wow, this is a great method, thanks for sharing

  • Luv it can't wait till you add more videos we are all waiting !! You are so talented !!!

  • shooooot i couldn't do that to save my life....

    its awesome<3

    :D

  • Wow, amazing. You are so talented. Has anyone ever told you you look like Monicas sister. You are so pretty. Being so creative like this makes me want to create it and wear it. I have A symmetrical bob and its only but so much you can do with it. Im trying to let my hair grow back out which is hard because you have to keep it shaped so it doesnt start looking deformed. Great video.

  • ahhh freakkkin mazingggggggg

  • You're too cute not to mention very talented. Where's your accent? For the unit, is the string that holds the sides together highly visible on your scalp? or does it blend in pretty well because its brown?

  • you are really good at what you do. I wish they did come out with a wig like this its a great idea!!!

  • Hey there! I'm sure you won't get a chance to read this comment cuz you have so many, but I was thinking you could probably glue little combs on the wig in place of the string thing. (Those little combs people use to make litte extensions or whatever). That way you won't have to try and hide the string and you can still keep the shape of the wig. Just a thought. Happy weaving Ladies!!

  • Just made this wig and it's THE best by far. I like this method better than a full lace wig, sew in, and clip in extensions. Wish I knew about this before I spent all that money LOL!

  • This is brilliant, I will try this. thank you beautiful!

  • Very nice! I just did my first wig but with the glue method. I love the half wigs but hate the shiner look! This is definitely something I will do! Thanks a million

  • PEOPLE IT'S CLEARLY A DOME CAP YOU CAN GET THEM IN THE GUYS HAIR SECTION OF FAMILY DOLLAR OR ANY BSS <3 <3 <3

  • what cap did you use??

  • hi what do you use on your own hair to get it so straight

  • Very nice! Thanks for sharing!

  • daaaaaaang ur sooooooo good at this!!!!!!!!! best ive ever seen

  • HOW DO YOU KEEP IT ON ASIDE FROM THAT STRING?

  • so smart and creative
