Persia is the name that Greeks used for Iran because of the persian kings, but Iranians allways called their country for Iran og Aryan. The Sassanid called their emiper for Iranshahr

(Iranian Empier). Shah changed the name to what it should be in 1935, because we are all Iranians but not all of us are persians, not that it makes so much different because we are close related and the same people, I am half Azer and half kurdish that means I am Madian.
