im a boy.. so i mean i cant really wear the arm warmers, and i live in Florida so long sleves wont work for most of the year. do you have any suggestions for me? my scars go from my wrist all up my arm to about my elbow, adn then i have more up on my legs.

You didn't mention this but there is a brand of make-up made especially for covering up birthmarks, scars etc called Covermark. In the UK, you can get matched to your skin tone through The Red Cross. It's far better than using normal foundation/ concealer.

I am very scarred, but I have accepted this, and I have embraced them. I now hardly ever use Covermark.

actually i have some scars on my wrists and what worked for me was ribbons. i'm not into a lot of bracelets so i would wrap pretty clothe ribbons around my wrist, and it helped that people always knew i liked ribbons, so they thought it was normal. i have a big purple one that i have and i used to also hide cuts. and also i'm not saying you should not cut but this is for once you have cut already.

Leave them open. My arm is covered in scars from when I used to self injure and I accept them and let them be. They're a part of me now, and I'll have to deal with that for the rest of my life. 99% of people won't notice, but you're gonna have to be brave about the ones who do, like your family and friends. And if you're going to show them, it helps to have quit so you can assure a witness that you're done. It's hard to quit, so be strong. As human beings, we have this power.

people WILL notice when you wear sleeves and arm warmers all the time.

get really friendly with you makeup. blend a lotion or cocoa butter with a foundation or cover up that matches your skin tone. then go over it again with powder

by scar cream in the pharmacy to help is fade, or start saving up for a laser surgery session that can remove it.

@loveyoumygod wear a tensor/ace bandage around your upper leg to cover the scars. if your teammates ask, you fell off a chair or similar things. If you parents ask, you pulled a muscle during volleyball practice. Works for me :]

I think that you are very considerate, but this is a very bad thing to teach people. They need to let people see those scars, so that they can get help, whether they want it or not. I used to cut, and it IS very hard to stop. But they need help. Not just instructions on how to hide the scars from people that could help them.

I was about 12 when I use to cut myself but now I´m 21 and still have very visible scars at my arms and I need to hide them, because I don´t want people to judge me because of something I did years ago.
