No offence meant when I referred to you as a 'mad French bloke' :-) Can't remember where I picked the vid up but I've now added a link back to your YouTube Channel..........nice work :-)
The skis look very small. On swedish army bikes they are bigger and the bike is automatic so you can support the skis with your legs all the time. Have been thinking of winterize my Triumph tiger this way for many years.
What an absolutely brilliant idea! Also what excellent fun. Trust the French to come up with a novel way to enjoy yourself. 100% good idea. Should market it, I think it would sell.
Will be looking for these soon to get around Dublin, Ireland....never had such a cold spell, and lovely snowy scene outside!! Not suitable for biking though! :-(
It's what riders in the Nordic countries have been doing since the late 50's. The Swedish Army used skis that way on their Monark bikes in the early 60's, so this is hardly news... But cool nevertheless!
Crazy is the word! :D

If he tied the skis into the forks so the can turn with the wheel, it would help with the bike turning.

Concept is old and copied. Swedish army have had this for longer that the GS has been around. Search for "Swedish army bike in snow"

Seems like a nice piece of engineering.

Nice!
Plus, with the sidemounted skis, you've got something to rest your huge bollocks on! Brave man.
