gah? i wouldn't say vampire weekend at all. the maccabees are brilliant as are vampire weekend but they don't really sound alike at all.

Yeah, I'd say they are more of a mix of Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, and Modest Mouse, if such a thing is possible...just my two cents...
