hey i just installed mine but it wont stop spinning one direction on the lower blades maybe the gear didnt click on to the little motor thingy. can u help me?
The extreme motors are a little 'pokier', but like 'tuned' anything, the bearings wear quicker, the gears tend to strip faster, and without Loctite on everything, screws undo.
My advice would be to stick with the stock motors and invest in 1000mah battery. I found that the extremes ran just as hot as the stock.
I no longer have the heli, but besides more power I never experienced any of the things you mentioned shot of need for loctite which I do anyway. I ran them for about 80 flights and they still had good life left on the brushes when sold and always ran around 110F degrees where the stockers hovered in the 130F range. Maybe I was too easy on it? lol

only dont buy eflite parts. go on hopmeup and buy the aluminum stuff there, its way cheaper and WAY better

hey tekstlye how do the motors make the heli better im looking at buying some.
littleseanx 3 years ago
they run cooler, and have alot more power.
tekstyle373 3 years ago
sorry i posted twice i couldnt see my post when i refreshed. Do they cut down on battery time??
littleseanx 3 years ago
no, they run cooler, I get about 1-2 more minutes of flight. Not significant, but they certainly do not reduce time.
tekstyle373 3 years ago
what do the ball bearing motors do for the heli??
littleseanx 3 years ago
I am looking at getting one. How easy are they to fly?
lilcupidbabe78 4 years ago
they are very simple in comparison to a full collective pitch heli. they do not do well outside though.
