I like pretty much every Spider-Man cartoon including the old 80's ones, but this one honestly had some problems. The animation was outdated within a couple years, Spider-Man doesn't have many good quips and he speaks slow and awkward when he's fighting, and the writing is pretty cheesy.

Good example is the first episode with that turbojet guy. He was kinda lame, and there was a newspaper clipping that said "Tech employee gets fired." Really? That's newspaper worthy? Super lazy backstory.

I stopped watching after the first few minutes. How many TV shows have you seen where a prisoner transport scene ends in something other than bad? Take a step back for a minute -- why should a storyline like this be in a cartoon? (Answer: because it's not designed to be a kid-friendly cartoon.) I'll keep my 3 YO on Rescue Heroes, thx.
