It's supposed to be a Capitalist economic system but it's NOT. It is corpate fascism not capitalism. A free market can only work if it stays free. As soon as the government gets involved quality goes down and prices go up.  Then they have to tax us more so they can bail out their rich friends with OUR money instead of it going to those of us who have been working hard and saving. Capitalism isn't perfect but it has taken whole countries out of poverty, just ask Estonia and India..

How about our food, government subsidizes corporate agriculture and the quality of our food goes down and the prices go up.

You don't have the freedom to spend the fruits of your labor how you choose the government does that for you. You cannot have sound money because the government has to print money to pay for everything so the standard of living goes down.
