@iciavosser; I guess you never rode on in the mountains. The reverse trikes want to buck you right off. At high speeds it is like riding an ATV on the road. You can keep them if you ever even rode one!
@rusteamn Nope. But a friend of mine was thrown off his trike when he made a turn, an accident that wouldn't have happened if he'd had two front wheels.
Stallions are not anything like a typical motorcycle conversion trike. At 1700 pounds they slide where regular conversion trikes flip. I will bet he was not on a Stallion.
Have you ever even rode a Stallion? If not you may want to reserve your comments. Take a test ride, at most major events they have Stallion test rides. it will change your mind!
I saw one of these going up I-95 in South Carolina as I was going down a few years ago. I actually thought it was a customized BMW, or at least had the rear end of one.
@rusteamn how about just the natural sound of the ride. that's what riding is about, isn't it? and i do apologize, I don't care much for a trike but i love this..there's just something about it.
I almost popped a nut just "watching" this video. I can't even begin to imagine what must be the sheer, orgasmic like, ecstasy, of actually owning & driving 1 of these works of art! They are so beautiful/hot! I GOTTA have 1! I would love to take it on a road trip through the Adirondack, USA/Canadian Rocky, or Blue Ridge mountains, the deserts/south west USA, & or the Pacific north west. These look more "comfortable" to ride then a Can-Am Spyder & just as cool, if not maybe cooler!
@gjc82071 I enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains all the time! Thanks for watching. We will all be meeting at Trike Talk Rally III in Maggy Valley in just a few weeks. Go to TrikeTalkcom to get the info to ride with us if you have a trike!!!!!
Will do. Won't be this year though. Maybe next summer. I have always (but never rode) liked trikes. I have rode motorcycles from Honda 100cc to 1000+ Gold wings. I am fairly strong, but @ 5"6 160lbs, not really a big guy. Unless I want a "scooter", "girls bike" or 500cc or less, I just don't feel safe on a BIG bike. Short legs + bike weight, etc = unstable. A trike seems so much more stable. Definitely easier to handle @ stops & low speeds. BTW how much is the Stallion, $25k-ish?
@larrycoleart I guess you should talk to youtube about their selection. I don't think we can select the "A" list for free! BTW, can you share some of your music with us? Critics are like sand on the beach.
@n6ugy , The Stallion is registered as a Motorrcycle. It is not a car. I am wearing a helmet when I feel like it in FL in this video, but in NC I have no choice. No seatbelt though, and that is a good thing!!!!
I didn't like the looks of it at first. I watched these videos and saw how it's put together and its features, and decided that this 67 year old man needs one. I could have a serious second childhood on this thing.
Before posting a comment you may want to ask yourself if you are considering that not everyone can ride a motorcycle due to health reasons or some people may want a trike that you can ride for the entire day 8-10 hours and still be able to have a good dinner, and get up the next morning and do it again. Admitted this is not a motorcycle, but then again if I wanted another motorcycle I would have gotten one.
This is a great machine. It is not for the typical person, and because of that some narrow minded people may make fun of it. Those are the people who don't have one, want one or possibly could not even afford it. But this is America, and we like the opportunity to enjoy things that communists and conformists would deem unacceptable!
This was a great way to get back into riding a motorcycle after not riding for close to 14 years. It was the only one my wife would get on the back of because she felt safe enough and it had all the comforts that made it a great bike to ride 2 up. It has been a great project bike, I put on a CB/intercom which made talking to the passenger an even better riding experence. Carry all the gear you need and a cooler, first aid kit, to help all your fellow riders and make trips more enjoyable.
Funny, it was me who was laughing and pointing as I was running 110+mph in a long sweeper in FL. The guy next to me on the liter bike was pinned to his bike by the wind trying to hold on in the turn. To each his own.... I also ride a Ducati, and I try to not laugh at other bikes even though I sometimes get the urge.
It is one of those love it or hate it things. It allows people who may not be able to ride a motorcycle the chance to get out and ride and do it with all the comforts of a car. This is a cross countrry rider. After about 10 hours of riding you can still get off and have a great evening.
I agree, it's not really a 3 wheel motorcycle, it's a 3 wheel car, in my opinion. I would love one, but not if I have to wear a helmet. I already have to wear a helmet on my trike, and I ain't happy about it. Helmet laws suck !
There are dealers all over the USA. You can just go to the manufacture's website. Google Stallion Trike. They are based in Texas. Thanks for watching.
That looks like a nice tourer, thanks for the video and details.

Very cool, but the steering wheel is a little incongruous.
Bars, it needs bars!!

I just heard from the manufacturer that the 2010 models have all been sold out! It seems like everyone likes this unique american trike.
