It was the sunday coz I just noticed my mate Mark at the front!! We were at the back on the saturday!! But right front centre on the sunday!! Amazing

agree, was a superb concert. had tickets for the first night and blagged in for the sunday night,never known a gig at the bowl to even come close since!

i was there on the sunday,fantastic gig..warm beer and snacked on bratwurst hot dogs! ..bowie was brilliant and even better we got in for nothing..good days

i was there too, saw Lenny Henry in the little tented market place by the entrance, only 1 pub close by remember buying vodka and sneaking it in mixed up in coke bottles, saw him leave in a limo after the show, wasnt ice house the support?

I was at the Sat concert and suffered really bad sunstroke. I remember some Angels fighting next to me at one point.

sunday was the best day of bowie at the bowl as argentina beat england with the thanx to mr maradonna and his hand of god(the tart) but bowie saved the day....wonder how many people wish they could go back to these days????

This was and still is the best weekend of my life...1983 milton keynes bowl...plenty of sunshine loads of beer... One Serious Moon Light...And The Fantastic David Bowie... This is with out doubt the bestist £10 I have ever spent...Thank you David..

Went up on the friday and sunday and got myself on the "Let's Dance" picture disc, along with a few thousand other people. I can still taste the warm beer. What a great weekend tho.

I was there too! Right in the front row, directly in front of Bowie. I still have the photos that I took with one of those terrible "Disc Cameras".

Agree with the heat comments, I got sunstroke and almost died of dehydration and was in bed for a month afterwards. Biggest gig I've ever been to. Wonderful memories !!

It was insanely hot that day. Must have been in the 90s. They had to hose people down. And try and find a car parked in Milton Keynes...all the bloody streets look the same!

Fantastic, brings back a few memories. Think i'm still sunburnt after the Sunday show. How hot was it that day ? Bowie and Band in superb form. Remember the off license down the road before the show. The guy couldn't fill his shelves, his beer being bought direct from his delivery truck. Don't think he's there anymore. Probably retired after

I was right down the front slightly to the left. I remember straining me neck looking up at him and getting the hosepipe from the security directly in the face due to the heat which was most welcome. What a fantastic day that was!
