oh my gosh-as a 35 year old who was a former show choir member-I LOVED this show! My son, who is 13 and is in a band and has done a ton of musicals loved it too, so this is the kind of show that crosses all age levels. I can't wait till next fall!

i'm always skeptical of new shows, but the pilot for this was excellent. i can't wait to see more. as satirical as it can be, the beats are executed with such utter sincerity, and the uncompromising passion that this show has for the characters' stakes makes you really root for them, and you'll be cheering for them by the musical number it closes on. a great feel-good start!

Saw it last night...

I think it's good for all audiences... First, it's funny and the music is good.

For Middle schoolers and junior high schoolers, it gives them a view of high scool.

High schoolers can compare it to what's actually going on with them.

And adults can look back and see what they missed in high school and stuff..

t is kind of nice that the male protagonist was the anti- Zac Effron. Though the show was trying to dissiminate any ounce of Disneysism, Mylie Cyrus BF caught extraing in the set which I found a little bit distracting not that he is flexing his abs but for his exposure time. Come on the new face of Buckle and a male muse of Taylor Swift video, even of the hightened camera time his presence failed to uplift me and the leading man reigns supreme.

After watching the pilot episode and going in with the mindset that this was going to be a very formulated mildly amusing coming of age....

The script blew me away. I mean yes it has cliches, but it also brings new perspectives and a fresh plot/cast to the point that I didn't care that it was another highschool drama. Found myself more interested in the characters in that short time that I forgot to critique.

So I just watched the big preview on Fox...just 5 min ago it finished... Tuesday at 8PM central time it began....

I was astonished!!!! I thought it was a movie at first!!! I did not know this was a tv show. The way the show is written and the spirit and honesty in this show is great!!!

It is also hilarious and thought provoking and deals with definite real issues in high school and adult life with teachers and community!!!

This is a must must must watch!!!! Highly highly reccommend!!!
