Hey mate. I've got my build list here for 2 580s, coupla 7,200rpm drives and an i7 3930k. Do you think it's worth me going for 12k W or would 1050 surfice? I'm looking at the CoolerMaster Hybrid series as my first choice and was gunna go with the RS-A50-SPHA-D3 - think I'll be ok? I'll probably not be going for 3 way SLI in the future but fitting a RAID or soundcard. Cheers :D

@paintbrawl I sent them back to EVGA for the 90 day step up program. The 480's became 580s'. The eBay 480sc went to a friend after I flashed the bios to stock.

what do your temps look like and why didnt you buy 580 hydros?

@BigH3017 As I'm typing this my CPU is sitting at 37c and my GPUs are at 39c (35% fan). The GTX580's run really cool. Adding them to the loop would only hurt performance.

Space shooters:

X2, X3 (1 and 2)

they're really good space sims. plenty of ships to buy and upgrades etc. they're relatively difficult games too.

They're really good games. So much better than freelancer. I suggest you start with X3: Reunion and just wiki the previous story, then go to X3: Terran Conflict. Terran Conflict has updated graphics etc, but Reunion is still really good.

If you ever played Privateer 1 or 2, the X games are a lot like that. A lot of freedom to do whatever, with a plot.

@IsoNurFace GTX580's are really cold cards, they just don't need it. Adding them to the loop would only have hurt my temps.

The LEDs are awesome, the white lights in the case reflect nicely inside, and the orange lights shine well around the desk;
