  • what does bee pollen taste like? does it taste like honey or its own taste or something else ? and whats the best way to eat it? like as a snack or with a smoothie or something?

  • @MrLifewatcher It's mildy sweet and the other flavours greatly depend on what source the pollen has come from. You can eat it as is or mixed into smoothies.

  • Zak bro, i love how im getting into more of your videos from im finding from your videos etc... like a trail! i went to your site and looked a bit on bee pollen (cuase i have loads in my friedge i havent been taking for ages) and then found this video at the end of that page :)P lol. hope ur having a nice day friend. keep VERY well. if ya dont, im gona come get ya!!! :P haha

  • @0wenfox Haha, I am keeping well 0wen, thanks :) It's always fun to find old videos on people's channels I agree!

  • Bee Polen looks amazing, obviously in moderate amounts because is high in sugars including fructose (like fruits)...

How much healthy is bee pollen in terms of glycimic index?

  • @adrygarcia You're eating such a small amount of it the benefits far outweigh any negative impact the simple sugars might have.

  • Any Grey Hair Use ?

  • Thankyou for this video. I used to take bee pollen, I may get some next time I go shopping.

  • druggies talk about how trippy their drugs are . screw that information is where its at.

  • @ventilize both are trippy

  • great vid

  • how much should we consume daily?

  • @parisa6100 I covered that in the video.

  • Way to go man, your videos are highly informative and valuable.

I've been eating bee pollen since I was a kid, but mostly after 16. That's about 17 years to now. And will never give it up ...

Very high in monoatomic gold. Maybe sometime you might want to do a video on carrot juice... 4oz of carrot juice = 127 mg of monoatomic rhodium. Measured!

This vid is one that should get the millions of views...(but then you can't force the viewers to switch from lady gaga unless they want to...)

  • @RajaBegun Hehe, no they won't be switching anytime soon, unless they start getting their ormus...

I might do a general video on foods containing high amounts of ormus soon actually :)

  • i came across a source of FRESH bee pollen (Y.S organic bee farms), which claims to be be using no heat forced drying process and so with active enzymes and nutrients. do you reckon it's worth the real high price tag (almost triple that of non-fresh bee pollen)?

  • @coconutberg If it's been dried it's no longer fresh. Fresh bee pollen is frozen and I've only ever obtained that from a beekeeper, never seen it in stores. Generally bee pollen is dehydrated at low temperatures and thus still raw so I'm not sure why the brand you mentioned would be so special.

  • Do i need to take a rest after some time taking bee pollen? I take bee pollen during 3 weeks, and take a rest one week, but i'm not sure if it's needed to take a rest. Thanks.

  • @rkowwe14 It's not necessary, no, but sometimes cycling any food or herb helps our body become better at absorbing it when we return to taking it.

  • Also, We may be arseholes. But if it weren't for us You would be speaking German. So maybe you should pay a little respect to the people who saved your arse! It's like the old saying " Which part of Europe are you from? The part whose arse we kicked or the part whose arse we saved" !

  • @ PaulsBeesInTrees Oh wait! You're from England so.... I guess that YOUR answer is BOTH. HAHA

  • If you know anything about the five tibetan rites ,let me know

    (i suppose you do.) :)

  • This is probably a long shot because you sound American, but do you know if i could buy it in england or any shops, thanks!

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees I'm Canadian and you'll have to find some local bee keepers to find it fresh (which is the best, but you have to keep it frozen), or health food stores often carry it dehydrated.

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees Woops sorry I know how much you guys hate being called American :p. Thanks for the advice, I live in a city so i doubt they'll be any bee keepers at my beck and call lol

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees

    Canadians ARE Americans

  • @mwk1977 Well considering its a different country, No i dont think they are.

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees They are not citizens of the United States of America. But America is a Continent not a country. NORTH AMERICA is the continent where Canada is located so YES they are Americans. They just aren't lucky enough to be US citizens. NAFTA made us all one.

  • @mwk1977 Well I'm sure most Canadians wouldnt class themselves as American. They'd class themselves as Canadian, probably because THEY ARE CANADIAN. I'm in Europe but im still English.

And lucky enough to be American seriously? Do you know what the rest of the world thinks of America? Plus Canadian citizens have free health care unlike you arseholes. Enjoy your recession, i'm sure Canadians are having fun yknow having full time jobs...

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees A) NOTHING is FREE! B) What the rest of the world thinks is irrelevant. C) I didn't mean to start a political discussion... Sorry. D) Because of the treaty signed by your leaders you are a citizen of the EU as well as England. Just like we signed NAFTA with Canada.

  • @mwk1977 You cant say such an inflammatory political statement and then say 'oh btw, I dont wanna start a political discussion because Im losing/American.

And healthcare should be free. Have you seen the poverty in America and you want people who cant find a job with no money at all to pay for things like healthcare, dont you care about them people?

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees What did I say that was so inflammatory?

There is Very little poverty in The United States. Poverty is the little kids with no clean water and no food to eat like in Ethiopia. What is considered poverty here is " I need new shoes" and " I can't pay my cell phone bill". Our "poor" people live better than 75-80% of the world. "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness" NO ONE has the "RIGHT" to health care. Especially at another persons expense.

  • @mwk1977 I love england and our good old socialist views.

Yes we pay our taxes and in return we get healthcare. Its at no ones expenses. We pay it through everything, food, fuel and working etc.

And some places in America are very rough, theres no social mobility in America either...

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees I think that you've been watching too much TV.

  • @mwk1977 Good argument...

  • @mwk1977 We pay for our health care system. We just don't get it. Just like we paid for the internet with our taxes, gave it away, and pay for it again. Same with health care, our taxes fund drug research, build hospitals, trains doctors, fund medical R&D, etc. Your argument is based on ignorance, you don't know how our taxes are used. WE have the right for anything WE pay for....

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees hi i live in england and ive not found it in shops other than the tablet form. I get it on the net from gojiking its around £13 for 500gs with delivery hope that helps.

  • How much bee pollen should I take in each day. Im a bodybuilder and athletic so how much should I use to recive the benefits from it?

I am a 20 year old male about 5ft 8 and weigh 150, if that helps.

  • @dougsmusic1 1-2 tbls min, but there's no upper dose, it's a food. At times I've taken 8 tbsp a day.

  • the Prophet of Islam taught us about bee's and honey :) its in the Quran too. ‘And thy Lord taught the bee to build its cells in hills, on trees and in (men’s) habitations….. there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for mankind. Verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.’

    [Quran 16:68-69]

thanks for this informative video! -.- peace

  • @faheemthedream2007 Thanks for sharing that :)

  • @SecretsOfLongevity anytime :O)

  • heyy i need a bee pollen . where can i contact or get it?

  • @SKullBoy155 In the drop down menu of this video I have a link for some high quality wild pollen native to the US. It's the best stuff I can direct you to :)

  • @SecretsOfLongevity but , can i buy it anywhere in hawaii?

  • @SKullBoy155 I have never been to Hawaii so I would have no idea. Try your local health food store.

  • @SKullBoy155 DARN.. but.. do you think the bee pollen can help lupus?

  • @SKullBoy155 I'm unfamiliar with what the causes of Lupus are, however bee pollen contains such a vast array of nutrients that it is bound to offer some help to either the symptoms or over all wellbeing.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity but.. do you have any bee pollen? if so. can i order it from you?

  • FINALLY!! :-) I found your bee pollen video. hehe. I just took a tablespoon full just now organic. Great video.

  • @Rasclot222 Awesome :)

  • Started taking bee pollen about three months ago, now just starting to take royal jelly. Good stuff. Once I find propolis I'll get that too.

  • Ill admit its nutrient dense in correlation to its calories. But if i got 1 lb of any type of nuts or seeds or even grass fed beef. Bee pollens nutrients just wouldnt compare.Because nuts, seeds, lean meats dried fruits are nutrient dense .But it is a superfood tho. The vitamins and minerals are just a plus.

  • @Amoney100 If you ate 1 pound of any of those all at once, you'd probably be sick, even bee pollen. I don't recommend eating bee pollen as a staple food BECAUSE it is so nutrient dense and your body would flush much of it away. Bee Pollen IS more nutrient dense than those foods mentioned, look at the article I have written on my site (link in the info box below the video) to see the nutrient breakdown if you'd like. Bee Pollen is over 50% predigested protein, none of those foods have that much.

  • People dont tell you that Bee pollen isnt a nutrient dense thing. It does have good components but relying on it for vitamins and minerals is unreliable unless your eating like half a pound of day.

  • @Amoney100 Do you mean "please don't tell me that Bee pollen IS a nutrient dense thing"? First of all it is a nutrient dense food and second of all I'm not saying only eat bee pollen for vitamins and minerals.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Ill admit its nutrient dense in correlation to its calories.

  • @Amoney100 Fat is lighter than protein so going by weight yes, nuts and seeds would give you more protein I realize now. My mis-perception was thinking in terms of percentages of the food and not by weight. I was thinking of how pollen is 25-50% protein and most nuts and seeds are under 25% protein. So when looking at weight, you'd have a greater volume of the nut or seed than the pollen because the fat is lighter than protein and giving more protein :p

  • @Amoney100 Sorry, I accidentally deleted your last post when I was trying to answer it, feel free to post again...

  • @Amoney100 Your right about the predigested protein. But when it comes to nutrients pound for pound meat, nuts and seeds are superior to Bee pollen pound for pound. And eating those foods in those amounts wouldnt make you sick unless your allergic. Calorie for Calorie bee pollen wins. And i dont have a problem with what you do just want you to have the correct info

  • Thank you for this incredible video. Great in depth helpful info!

  • Man,can you tell me if water fasting (10 days lets say)can make me taller?:)

and can it return my libido?

I'm eating bee pollen for 5-6 months now, probably more and i felt lot of benefits but i cant cure my nonbacterial prostatits,so thats why i'm asking there questions.Im sure you know what i'm talking about cause i seen some videos from you and you know the stuff.

    Peace and health!

  • @G36n I have never heard of a case of someone getting taller, nor is their any biological reason as to why this would occur from fasting.

It could potentially restore libido is the cause of a low libido was "excess" in the body, meaning excess food matter, excess toxins etc. Once that begins flowing out again, you could have libido begin to return IF that was the only cause for it being low.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Thanks for the reply.God bless you!

  • thanks great info, I take bee pollen myself but from listening to this I now know that I can double the amount.

  • now by increase height, you don't mean that I'll go from a height of 5'7" to 7'8" right? It has to be minor, I can't picture it skyrocketing my height.

  • @TwistedBarney I could almost say "I guarantee" that that won't happen ;) I haven't noticed height increases in myself, but then again, I'm not WANTING to grow in height!

  • i read that bee pollen has a cell coating that needs to be prossesd in order to be digested. like chorella. One way was to soak it in lemon water for about 8 houres.

You got som more info on this? And do you use royla jelly?

  • @vad7771 Bee pollen has been shown in studies to be absorbed by the body even before it has time to leave the stomach. It does have a "wall" but it is not cellulose. It doesn't need to be broken open like chlorella which does have a cellulose wall.

I do use royal jelly on occasion.

  • I love this vid!!! Awesome information! :)

  • I usually buy 10 pounds of bee pollen every 4 months. That is a HUGE amount.

It has made my grow a lot. I'm now at 6 foot 6.

I have noticed that it increases my health to unbelievable levels.

Today I went to Marche Jean Talon in Montreal just to try a different type of bee pollen that i hear is of good quality. The lady that sold it to me was so sexy, she had a perfect complection and a PERFECT physique. I opened the conversation with "How many spoons do you take per day, wink win" She knew.

  • Haha! Thanks for sharing :)

  • @ThomasDeanNordlum Je vais souvenir cela (pardon ma grammaire :p)!

  • Good stuff ! I often times ferment my bee pollen so that I can travel with it as most fresh pollen can go rancid so fast.

  • Interesting, I had never heard of fermented bee pollen!

  • Very informative and educational video, I applaud you my good man!

  • can you take bee pollen granules as it is? I have heard you are spost to soak it for 8-12 hours to digest.

  • Yes you ca neat bee pollen as is. If it's been dehydrated it just a little bit crunchier, but if you put it in a smoothie anyways it's going to be blended up.

  • bee pollen or bee propolis????

  • 8 tbsp is nice! i thought i was taking too much by having 5 even after my workouts, but even with 4tbsp post workout i have noticed greater strength gains, thanks for putting up vid

  • what is best form of bee pollen?and what brand you recommend?

  • Any brand where you know the bees have collected the pollen in a pristine environment. Because bee's ravel such long distances to get pollen, the beekeeper has to beeee located in very rural areas without GMO and non-organic farms nearby.

the very best bee pollen is known to be Jarrah pollen, however it's also the priciest. go to local farmers markets, find your local bee keepers and talk to them about their bee's and surrounding environment.

  • Hi Zak, 8 Tbs? Wow!!!!! What is your opinion about royal gelly?

    Thank you, Peace

  • Hahaha... that's a therapeutic dosage ;) I'm averaging about 4 right now per day :p

Royal Jelly is great, similar to be pollen but more concentrated. Great for beauty. I don't take it as often so my personal experience with it is limited, although I'd like to use it more!

  • I have a couple questions.

What is the glycemic index of bee pollen, is it the same as honey?

Do the benefits of bee pollen diminish if I use it in hot tea to sweeten or flavor it?

  • I have never found the G.Index rating of bee pollen but it would definitely be on the low side, lower than honey for sure, since it's not overtly sweet. You use it in such small quantities anyways that it shouldn't be too big of a problem if it WERE moderately high.

If you use it in tea, make sure the tea has cooled enough to the point that you can comfortably hold your finger in it without burning. Bee products are so enzyme rich that they can become damaged around 95 degrees F.

  • Oh no, I just added some to a recipe that I am now dehydrating. Crud, I sure hope it endures with all it's benefits. Cuz it sure still tastes great!

  • It should be fine, they often dehydrate bee pollen anyways! You can always dehydrate it at around 100 degrees instead of 110+. It'll take a wee bit longer but it'll still dehydrate.

  • WOW, you cant imagine the synchronicity of this video for me.

I just received bee pollen powder, organic and kosher, so i was going to refresh my knowledge of its benefits. I have never had it ground into powder, it is so delicious i sprinkle it on my raw granola every morning.

    Thanks Zak!!

  • Awesome :)

  • Hi, what do they serve on daily basis at Hippocrates. Whats the menu plan ?
