@Charsdep A Guardsman's life is to die. Their purpose is to hold on until reinforcements arrive or to destroy regular threats, like xeno worlds, small invasions, rebellions and things like that. The Space Marines join the fray when things no mortal man can defeat appear. This includes Daemons, Chaos Space Marines and Tyranid splinter fleets.
Without the Marines, the Imperium would fall. Without the Imperial Guard, it would crumble and get torn apart. Neither can hope to win without the other.

@xxlCortez No they can't but they're still not going to run out anytime soon. There are hundreds of billions of guardsmen alone. So even if only a small percentage of Imperials are Psykers, there are still many to be SACRUHFICED.

@VanVeghel I'm not sure about that. The Chaos gods are prey on souls and being psyker is very dangerous. As I know, there are always some armed guy near the psykers to shoot them if they got out of control. Mutation and corruption are also a huge danger for them, so the Imperium execute them for these things too. So I can hardly believe that their souls are always untouched and got through the Warp safe and sound.

Winter Assault had brilliant characters and an excellent storyline. The only thing I hated was how they botched up the weapon options in it especially for Chaos Marines; limiting them to only having Heavy Bolters. Then making the Space Marine Predator an Annihilator by default with four lascannons; yes we do tend to upgrade the Marine predator to have a twin linked las cannon but I quite like having heavy bolters too which comes in handy for infantry.

I dunno if they HAVE squirrels on Lorn, but my point stands.... Also: Wouldn't a traitor titan legion have more serious interest in it as opposed to a warband dedicated to khorne, since khorne does oppose nearly all forms of ranged combat?
@dragonstormx The Forces of Chaos are capable of many things yet they are not noted for their brainpower. Abbadon has failed horrible in each of his 13 Black Crusades over the past 10,000 years. Many who Fall to Chaos think they can control it or see it as the good thing to do. Perhaps (assuming that the forces who took Lorn V were Khornate) the Forces of Chaos were too busy spilling blood to remember that there is a Titan buried under their feet. Perhaps the weather covered it up?

The "evil" of the Imperium of Man is nothing compared to the utter evil and madness of the Immaterium. Typically if they actually do an exterminatus I would think that they would be unable to repopulate it any time soon. Virus bombs and cyclonic torpedoes don't sound like they'd go away quickly or at all to me.
Actualy Inquisition sometimes, after purging planet, wishes to establish a new outpost on a planet, so they go to some minor safe planet in the middle of Empire, chain up couple milions of innocent citizen, pack them on ships and dropp on planet with strict order: "Breed, build, and grow... or we kill you ":3

Sturnn, for a imperium general, is actually quite heroic. I am tempted to say that he is a monster just like the Inquisition, but I have realized that it is the Inquisition that is evil, not the imperium.

if your comparing the music from the french verson to this video then you may be wrong the music to the english verson is diffrent to this one. BDC put his own music on it.( It's alot better then the original)

Typically if they actually do an exterminatus I would think that they would be unable to repopulate it any time soon. Virus bombs and cyclonic torpedoes don't sound like they'd go away quickly or at all to me.

Actualy Inquisition sometimes, after purging planet, wishes to establish a new outpost on a planet, so they go to some minor safe planet in the middle of Empire, chain up couple milions of innocent citizen, pack them on ships and dropp on planet with strict order: "Breed, build, and grow... or we kill you ":3
Thats how they colonize and industrialize whole space
I kinda like the beauty of its simplicity.

Sturnn, for a imperium general, is actually quite heroic. I am tempted to say that he is a monster just like the Inquisition, but I have realized that it is the Inquisition that is evil, not the imperium.

the Imperium inhabitants belive that the only light in the universe in the Emperor, so they must "secrafice tmen(?)/work hard" (i dont know how to exaclly describe it),but i know the felling ^^ "its something like: u need to do something agianst ur own will or valor system, normaly u wouldnt want to, but u know that it must be done for some greater purpose"
and from what i have observer the inqusition hunts even those who would not submit to such behavior ...

yes it is the tau ideology, but the individual life forms behaviors are diferent, the Imperium ideology is difrent as well, but individual human behaviors need to be a bit similar to the ones i described, who else can u call it? (ofc u can always call it a personal secrafice in the name of the Emperor)
