Curved text in Gimp

i cant move my text once i text along path

ok this is sorta sad i followed it the first time perfectly and got my results but didnt like so went to redo and now im doing everything in the vid and making the new path and naming it and such...but under layers it does not give me the text along path

when i create the layer for my text i don't get the "marching ants" going across the text just down the lines of it?

@meggles31 GREAT VID, WAY BETTER THAN THE OTHERS FOR THIS, ITS A SHAME ITS ONLY HAD 643 VIEWS, ID DEF. SUGGEST ADDING TAGS A LOT OF THEM TO GET THE VIEWS UP, THIS ONE BY FAR WAS BETTER! THANKS!
