yes, you have every right to do this. however, i do think there should be a distinction between "free speech" and speech which has an intent to offend (i.e., hurtful or even hateful speech). again, it's not a question of legality, but of respect... visit the facebook page banned by pakistan, and i think you'll agree that this "day" has been used as an excuse for hateful, racist, offensive images to profligate... also, keep in mind that not all muslims are extremists who issue death threats.
