BNSF & UP both do not use ditches on their units, and never have frankly. I don't know why NS and CSX use them, and these other two don't...

They do use ditch lights lol, they dont FLASH and it burns them out faster when they do.

I did one time shoot video of UP special private cars on the rear of the Zephyr and I also shot one flat car with 2 tanks on it on a UP train on the Coast Line back in the year 2003.
