theres two other ways you can achieve this look that i do:

WITH HEAT- you can use a flat iron and doing an up-down motion while moving down the hair. the effect is pretty much the same

WITHOUT HEAT- you can do french braids going down your hair and leave it in for about 8 hours or less if your in a rush. you can do this overnight. also, for best results, you should either leave your hair damp or a creamy/wet-ish product. the braids give a more natural look. i prefer the braids. :)

I love this look! It's beautiful. I have very long hair and it naturally looks like that but because it's natural, there are fly aways and frizz.I wish there was some way to get rid of the frizz so that it looks really neat. Very beautiful!

@danaaax01 It's pretty much easy =) Do a simple braid or french/dutch braid (depends on where you want your waves to start) , leave it overnight . When morning comes release it and ... WALA ! The results shown =) Extra tip : 1) When you do the braids make it abit damp . 2) Spray with a hairspray to last long =)

@TheReid1997 you can braid all sections of your hair (not too tight; not to loose) after a shower (not to damp; not to wet) and you should be able to gain the same style :)

however here's a warning; since its just braids, the style cud fall out easily with out hairspray and you wont have much control over the volume and how tight each "crimp" is

You can do this look with out heat too!, if you just french braid your whole head, and keep it overnight and then take the braids out its all crimped.

What I do to get this look is right after I take a night bath I put ''It's a 10 Miracle Leave in Product'' all over my damp hair and I braid my hair and go to sleep...the next morning my hair is dry and filled with beautiful beachy waves.
