Oralndo needs to get up on their game & spend that money & stop stealing it redo the park folks they getting more expensive but i'm not seeing park improvements buy more motorized handicapped scooters with some of this money i couldn't get one last time a 3 hour wait ? went around the whole park 3 times in that.

Nothing can touch the orginal soundtrack. LOL, mickey mouse and goofy sound funny. The cheshar cat!! :D thats one thing that would be cool to have in the orginal one. Some of those floats are creepy :(

I like Disney and the parade and all, and it is nice, don't get me wrong. But nothing beats the original Main Street Electrical Parade. Especially the music. Haven't heard the new version in person, but no too crazy about this "modern version" in contrast to the classic one.

I was there last April 17,2009....^_^ It was amzing there...the Tokyo Disneyland was better than other amusement parks...It was very fun there..Chasing some Disney Characters to have their authographs specialy the authograph of Cinderella...She's so beautiful.....And the foods were great,.....I will not forget those moments and I will treasure it forever,,,..Luckily Im going to Japan again.....^^ Hope you visit Japan and Tokyo Disneyland...

@moonbunnychan I think it's pretty cool hopw Disneyland's floats (the samew ones that are in Florida now) were updatesd to LED's and the Dreamlights music. kinda a mix of cloassic yet new. & ui agree w/ you. Spectromagic's hiatus NEEDS to be PERMANENT

I have always gone to WDW in Fl, never been to Disneyland. I think it would be neat to go because is was the orginal creation. But from what I have heard it just wouldn't be the same. I hear that most of the attractions are built almost right on top of each other. And I wondered if I would feel I would get my money worths with just two parks. Not like WDW Fl with 4parks? Can any one give me anymore info on Disneyland?

Disneyland for Me is The Best Park, Bigger Doesnt always mean better, Disneyland Feels More Like Disney's Creation, and Its the Original park,

full of History and Attraction that Are not in other parks, California adventure is currently going under a Remodel, I would visit DCA when its completed in 2011,,,

But if u cant wait.. theres tons of cool stuff, but u will definately notice the Construction all over the park. I Would Visit Disneyland.. Cuase its the best!

I guess I've always noticed the differences between both parks and here's my observation: Disneyland has better Characters and Shows (Parades, Fantasmic, etc.) Walt Disney World has better rides [attractions in Disney lingo.] As for me, I totally get my money's worth anytime I go to Disneyland/DCA because it has a homely feel and real magic. I may be a little biased, but considering attractions are the last thing on my mind at Disneyland, I say Disneyland is light years ahead of WDW. *cont.*

Keep in mind that Disneyland is much smaller than the Magic Kingdom, but Disneyland seems like an antique in a way. The Magic Kingdom is always the first park to get better advances in technology, since it's the most visited amusement park in the world, but to me, I think it makes our Disneyland cuter(to me, WDW just seems like a tourist park, no offense whatsoever.) We stay true to what Walt created, and we're satisfied to be the Happiest Place on Earth.

Spectromagic won't fit on Disneyland's parade route unless they built anoother set for us. The Specttro floats are about 4 feet to wide to fit on the Disneyland parade route

This is amazing. I want to go to Tokyo Disneyland just to see this parade. The English is very cheesy, but the parade floats and new technology are amazing. This definitely has an Asian theme to it. I like the intro, especially the "dreamlights" part, but I wouldn't have replaced "electrosynthemagnetic" with "brilliant."

That's because this was filmed at the TOKYO Disneyland in Japan, so most of it will be in Japanese.

Now if we could just get them to bring this updated version to the USA parks, it might be worth going to the park again, just for that.

wait till you hear the latest rumor the soundtrack for Dreamlights will be implemented into Disney's Electrical Parade next year. not sure how they'll pull that off considering Tinker Bell is replacing the Blue Fairy and there is no To Honor America loop in the soundtrack

Although I love the MSEP ones much better because its what I grew up with. But the music is SO essential to the parade, changing it is just...not ok. I don't see any reason to.

The Main Street Electrical Parade will not be returning to DIsneyland CA or Paris. The new electrical parade that was supposed to be launched in 2000 was actually an updated version of Light Tragic er i mean Magic. With the 2012 expansion going on at DCA, there have been talks among disney imagineers that they will move Spectromagic to DCA to celebrate the parks 10th anniversary. The truth is, the Main Street Electrical Parade has been retired from Disneyland for good.

If they bring back the MSEP to either Magic Kingdom or Disneyland it needs to be cloned from this, updated music included. These floats are unbelievably cool! And kids these days will get much more excited at stuff like Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, and stuff like that. This is like the best mix of old and new.

1991 EuroDisneyland Debuts Christmas Soundtrack (first park to have a Christmas soundtrack for parade)

1993 Tokyo adds a Christmas soundtrack (un-released)

1999 Magic Kingdom utilizes a Christmas soundtrack for MSEP's return engagement to FL

I spent one month in Tokyo during the Summer of '03. My wife MADE me go to Disneyland Tokyo. Why? Because of the parade! I had to get it on film for her. She said it was way better than Spectra Magic. She was soooo right! Thanks for the upload!
